Highway Love Season 2 Ending Explained

The second season of MX Player's original web series Highway Love was released on 4 October. Season 1 of the show became very popular among the youth and seeing the response of the trailer, it was predicted that people will also like Season 2.

Season 2 has a total of 6 episodes and in the last episode of Season 2, we got to see something that probably no one would have expected.

Now we will focus on the ending of Highway Love Season 2 and at the same time we will also discuss whether the story will continue further or not.

So Season 2 begins when we see that Kartik and Innaya start living together and the relationship between the two seems quite perfect, Innaya starts following her singing passion and on the other hand, Kartik remains busy with his work.

A shocking turn comes in the series when in episode 4 we see that Innaya cheats on Kartik and starts kissing Rishi, all these things were seen by Kartik's friend Sahil and he also repeatedly tells Innaya that she should tell this truth to Kartik herself otherwise he will go and tell him.

On the day of Sahil's engagement, when Innaya tells this truth to Kartik, a big drama takes place on that day and Kartik beats Rishi badly. After this incident, the relationship between Kartik and Innaya changes completely and finally one day Kartik breaks up with Innaya.

There is a long conversation between the two and both confess that they love each other too but still, Kartik decides that he will not stay in this relationship anymore and he gives the engagement ring which he had bought for Innaya to her and goes away from there. Episode 2 ends here.

How many people will have this question in their minds when everything was fine between Kartik and Innaya after Kartik forgave her, then why did this break up happen? As we see in the end even though Kartik was behaving normally, he was not normal from the inside and after the cheating incident, he was never able to connect himself in that relationship like before and this was a big reason based for which Kartik decided that he will not be able to continue with Innaya anymore.

Now let's talk about Season 3 of this series. Yes, Season 3 of this series will come and we are hopeful that everything will be fine between Kartik and Innaya in the next season but it will be interesting to see how the makers connect them in Season 3.

Now if we talk about the time frame, we can see Season 3 of Highway Love in early 2025.
