General Hospital Wild Speculation: Was Sasha's baby named Daisy because of Dawn of Day?

Could this lead to the reveal that Drew is really Shiloh?

Does Daisy's name mean something?

Does Sasha Gilmore's (Sophia Mattson) naming her baby with Michael Corinthos ( Rory Gibson) "Daisy" have any significance?" Usually, on General Hospital, a reason is given for the name chosen for a newborn, and fans watch it play out on the air.

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) named her son with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Danny Morgan ( Zakary Risinger), in honor of her brother, Danny McCall ( David Greenman). Lila Alcazaar ( Molly Burnette) was named after Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee).

Brook Lynn Chase was named after the Brooklyn Bridge, a place of significance for her parents, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) where they went after their wedding. Michael Corinthos III was named after his adoptive father and grandfather, Michael Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Mike Corbin ( Max Gail).

Is Daisy's name a coincidence?

Why is the new addition to the Corinthos/Scorpio family named Daisy? The show didn't even depict the couple naming their child, adding to the mystery. Why the secrecy? The baby was born at the end of Thursday's episode inside the courthouse. At the beginning of Friday's show, Michael introduced his daughter to Sonny as Daisy, leaving fans puzzled and intrigued.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) came to the hospital, already knowing her new granddaughter's name. This led me to rewatch Thursday's episode to see if I had missed anything, but I had not. No explanation was given for why that name was chosen, but I recalled Daisy (No last name), portrayed by (Kelsy Wang )who was a member of the Dawn of Day cult. As a side note, Wang and Gibson portrayed Allie Nguyen and Noah Newman who were a couple on The Young and the Restless.

Why would Sasha choose to name her baby after someone responsible for Willow and Kristina Corinthos Davis's (Kate Mansi) trauma? Did the writers forget about DOD, or was this name intentional?

Is Drew really Shiloh?

I was skeptical when General Hospital fans began saying that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), who ran Dawn of Day with plastic surgery. Now, my wheels are turning, and I am more inclined to consider this wild speculation.

The thinking was that Navy Seal Andrew Cain would not act out the way the character has been for the past year with blackmailing Portia Ashford (Brook Kerr), framing Tracy Quartermaine ( Jane Elliot), and sleeping with mother and daughter Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow who was his nephew's wife. Drew also paid a nurse at the German clinic to tell Willow that Michael did not want to see her. This behavior raises questions and keeps the audience engaged in the storyline.

GH fans are hoping there is some explanation for Drew's bizarre behavior that does not involve him having a brain tumor. Shiloh holding the real Congressman Cain captive and taking his place sounds good in theory because Mr. Archer was obsessed with Willow, but is it true?

Now that the soon-to-be ex-Mrs. Corinthos has named her baby Daisy; I am beginning to wonder. The need for an explanation for Drew's behavior is becoming more urgent, leaving the audience concerned about his character's future.

Drew will have to be dealt with

If viewers had seen Michael and Willow discussing the name they chose for their daughter, fans would understand the choice. Again, this could all be a coincidence. Perhaps the writers wanted to move on quickly from the courtroom drama by omitting a few things from being shown on camera. Still, it felt rushed, as if something important was missing.

One thing that General Hospital fans agree on is that something has to give where Drew is concerned. He cannot continue getting away with so many dirty deeds. If the truth is exposed, he will lose Willow and have no one in Port Charles on his side. If the congressman is arrested for his crimes, Mathison will leave the soap.

If he is Shiloh and Daisy's name is a clue, then redemptions are possible for this character. If Drew is indeed Shiloh, his redemption arc could involve him coming to terms with his past actions and seeking forgiveness from those he has wronged. Stay tuned to General Hospital to learn what happens next.
