General Hospital Update: Brad's deal with Drew could cause Portia and Nina big trouble

The showdown begins on GH

General Hospital fans are fuming over the botched attempt by Portia Robinson Ashford (Brooke Kerr) and Nina Reeves ( Cynthia Watros) to frame Drew Quartermaine Cain (Cameron Mathison). Jacinda (Page Herchell) has their money, and she is long gone, so they must suffer the consequences alone.

Portia is a doctor and the Chief of Staff who should have known better than to drug Drew with something traceable. Instead of ketamine, she and Nina could have used something that would not have shown up in his system.

Portia and Nina were sloppy

Now the test results prove Drew was drugged, and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is about to tell him who did the deed for a price. GH viewers are asking, "What were the writers thinking"? They allowed Nina and Portia to act like Keystone Cops, and their actions can easily be traced back to them.

If Brad spills all, he will get enough money from Drew that he might quit his job before he can be fired. He saw Lucas Jones (Van Hasing) with Marco (Adrian Anchondo) and may realize he will never get his husband back.

Who will come out on top?

Portia threatened him, but she is new at all of this, and Brad is a pro. Spoilers tease that Congressman Quartermaine might find a way to blackmail Portia and Nina and bend them to his will. The only way to stop this man is the one thing Willow's mother does not desire to happen. Nina must come clean and let her daughter know that she and Drew slept together.

Several lives will be destroyed

This will destroy Willow Corinthos (Katelynn MacMullen) and her relationships with the man she loves and her mom. These schemes and cons have existed too long, and fans say they must stop. Who will be the last man standing when the dirty truth is revealed? Could Portia lose her Chief of Staff position and be fired from GH or will Drew lose his position as Congressman because of the public scandal?

Willow probably wants nothing to do with Drew or Nina, and Brad might come out of this smelling like a rose. He is fed up with Dr. Robinson/ Ashford, and without Lucas, he has nothing to lose. he could take Drew's money and live well.

Will Nina and Portia's efforts be worth it?

Nina will not mind sacrificing herself to save Willow, but Portia could lose Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and the respect of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). This is a huge mess and will probably begin to unravel as the Nurses Ball gets closer.

Congressman Cain may believe he has the upper hand with the news Brad will reveal because he does not think Nina will reveal they were sleeping together. Fans say it's time all the secrets come to light, so keep watching and remember the Nurses Ball begins on May 20.

The Nurses Ball will be epic this year

Every year there are big reveals at the annual gala and this year there are quite a few. Gio Palmieri's parentage, and Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) revealed as the one who is after Sonny Corinthos are two in addition to the Brad, Portia, Nina, Drew debacles.
