General Hospital: Fans wonder why Diane replaced Scott as Trina's lawyer

Viewers want to know if this was already in the script or a last-minute change.

Where in the world is Scott?

General Hospital fans were stunned on Thursday when Diane Miller ((Carolyn Hennessey) suddenly took over as Trina Robinson's (Tabyana Ali) lawyer in place of Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Trina has been working with Scott through the entire ordeal and now when she is headed to court everything changes. This is a critical time and change may not be good unless Diane obtains a miracle.

Scott was said to be out of the country due to an emergency and it happened so abruptly that GH fans wondered if Shriner was OK. Those who were worried can take a deep breath because he recently posted on Twitter. There was a photo of Steve Burton ex Jason Morgan who currently portrays Harris Michaels on Days of Our Lives Beyond Salem 2. Another photo showed Shriner and the caption said that said Burton was pumping iron while Shriner was pumping olives.

Can Diane ever lose?

Shriner might be just taking some time off of the ABC soap as he often does because it sounds like his character will be away for a while. General Hospital fans who are devotees of Sciesl fans are waiting to see Obrecht and Scott light up the screen together again

Viewers know that Diane has an amazing track record while and wonder if the change in lawyers indicates that Trina will win her case. Diane represented Michael Corinthos (Chad Duel) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and won against Scott who was representing Nina Reeves ( Cynthia Watros). Will this be another win or can Diane lose this case?

Some fans have said that everyone involved in trying to help Trina seems a bit off and unable to get the goods on Esme Prince.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is the police commissioner and she was with Trina around the time the sex tape was released but neither she nor Ms. Robinson seems to recall this. Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) with his tech-savvy and Sonny Corinthos with his mob power has been able to come up with absolutely nothing.

Now Diane is coming in at the 11th hour to replace Scott and fans are concerned about what it all means. Scott did not seem to be doing a good job in finding evidence to clear his client and now he is off the case. The question is will Diane have another win or lose big this time around?

General Hospital cast members are dealing with issues

Shriner did not mention General Hospital in his recent tweets so fans are believing that no news is good news. Laura Wright just announced that she is stranded in Colorado after testing positive for covid and Shriner's fans just want to make sure he is doing well. At least four other GH cast members have tested positive for covid and some fans are wondering if there has been an outbreak.

GH viewers are on pins and needles waiting to see Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) get what is coming to her no matter who takes her down. Even so, Scott Baldwin is a beloved legacy character on the soap and his followers are eager to see him back in action in Port Charles. No news seems to be good news and hopefully, Shriner will soon be doing what he does best in Port Charles.

There have been a few recasts in recent weeks but the storylines are moving forward and the action is heating up. Be on the lookout for General Hospital updates and spoilers related to Scotty's return as well as what will happen with Trina's trial so stay tuned..
