‘General Hospital’ fans are furious about Britt’s behavior

A number of GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are outraged over the way the character Britt is being portrayed. Fans were stunned when Dr. Westbourne had a brief hookup with Julian Jerome that went nowhere and how she kept Julian’s secret even though Brad is her good friend and is in jail in part because of Julian. Next Britt went on the run with Jason and many who watch the CBS soap thought the two would fall in love. Instead, they spent one night together and now Jason is going to marry Carly in order to protect Sonny’s business. On Monday Britt invited Jax to her house and they hopped in the sack.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are saying on social media that there is more to Britt Westbourne than having meaningless sex with different men. The storyline implied that Jax and Britt were drunk but they had sex again. Fans feel cheated because there was such a buildup with Brason only to have Jason break Britt’s heart. Jax badmouthed his ex-wife’s best friend but Dr. Westbourne knew she had seen a different side to the man who is considered to be stone cold. Fans are equally distressed over the messy situations that almost every couple seems to be in right now.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are calling out executive producer Frank Valentini for turning Port Charles upside down. Nikolas and Ava are on the brink of divorce, Sonny is still residing in Nixon Falls and has amnesia and that storyline is also a sore spot with those who enjoy the ABC soap. It's not clear if Jas and Britt will become an item or remain only friends with benefits. They both are hurting over the upcoming nuptials of Carly and Jason and are reacting poorly.

Many GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers want Sonny to return to Port Charles and regain his memory before Jason and Carly take the plunge. Some spoilers suggest this is what will happen but there has been no confirmation. There are also Brason fans who think Jason should come clean to Britt about the real reason he is marrying his best friend. Jarly thought enough of Michael to explain the situation to him but Dr. Westbourne sleeping with Jax might cause Jason to think twice about his feelings for her. On Wednesday Jax and Carly were stunned to see Jax and Britt laughing as they came out of the elevator into the Metro Court. The first thing Carly said is that she knew they are sleeping together.

Jason made matters worse for Britt by trying to convince her that he cares. Dr. Westbourne seems about to throw caution to the wind and spend time with Jax while pinning away for Jason. No one else knows her medical issue so if her hand starts trembling Jax is going to ask questions. GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are concerned that Britt could succumb to the Huntington’s disease without ever experiencing true love. Fans of the show want Sonny to recall who he is and return to Port Charles and right the wrongs.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are saying they did not like seeing Carly hanging all over Jason as if she owns him. Some say the dynamic of the situation makes it borderline incest in a manner of speaking. Jarly believes they are protecting their family by getting married but are causing a lot of damage along the way. Britt feels abandoned, Jax is angry, Liz is sorrowful, Sam is confused but Dante seems to be taking it all in stride. Obrecht is worried about her daughter’s health as well as her heart because has no idea how much time Britt has left.

If Sonny does return and stop the nuptials thsi does not necessarily indicate that Briott will forgive Jason, She may think that if he really cared for her he would have told her the truth instead of allowing her to believe he was in love with Carly. GENERAL HOSPITAL fans are saying that Dr. Westbourne deserves something much better than the drama that surrounds her.

Jason betrayed Britt, she has the Huntington's disease marker and she may lose her job as chief of staff. Hopefully, the writers will set everything in order, and perhaps Britt may not be dying of the same disease her father had. Britt has been unlucky in love with Patrick, Nikolas, and now Jason and Jax is not over either Carly or Nina. GENERAL HOSPITAL needs to do right by Dr. Westbourne.
