Martin is new to Port Charles and all that is known about the attorney is that he is the sibling of Laura and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Fans are expressing their surprise and delight that Lucy and Martin have found each other and some are hoping this turns into a long-term relationship. Given Lucy's checkered past the odds are against them but on soaps one never knows for certain. Let's take a stroll down memory lane at some of the earlier antics of Ms. Coe when she first surfaced in Port Charles.

Lynn Herring debuted on General Hospital in 1986 as a librarian with geeky glasses and her hair in a bun. She was described as being mousy but there was a vixen hiding underneath. She was dating Kevin O'Connor (Kevin Bernhardt) and became his alibi in a murder case. Once she found out that O'Connor had duped her, Lucy retaliated by writing a tell-all book. This is when she elt her hair down, ditched the glasses, and put on makeup. She morphed from a plain Jane and turned into a sexy femme fatale.

She had an affair with Bobbie Spencer's then-husband, Jake Meyer, then went on to date Tony Jones, whom she married. en that union fell apart, she caught the eye of mobster Victor Jerome who died after he swallowed a diamond pendant that he gave Lucy. Lucy later donned a red wedding gown and marries Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon). She cheated on her new husband with Scott Baldwin, and later ended up leaving town.

The one that got away was Kevin Collins who Lucy continues to refer to as "Doc." Lucy never quite got over him and feels like his current wife Laura looks own on her because of all of her shortcomings. Lucy even told Martin that she knew Laura had badmouthed her but the silver fox lawyer told her that his sister had not uttered one word against her.

The writers could go in several directions with Martin and Lucy and the first is to have them go their separate ways. They could end up being a couple utilized for comic relief or perhaps something serious could take place between them. Lucy is known for her comedic timing especially as it pertains to the General Hospital Nurses Ball. For a number of years, there would be mishaps where she would end up in her underwear.

One year fitness guru Richard Simmons had a hand in the annual gala and he ended up bound and gagged backstage inside a closet. Lucy, standing in her bra and panties announced that Simmons had come out of the closet. There is a lot of promise between Martin and Lucy and they have already shared a few private jokes.

After they hit the sheets Grey said with a grin that being with her really was a miracle which could be interpreted that he had been having erectile dysfunction issues but was able to perform with Lucy, Be on the lookout for updates, breaking news, and spoilers related to Martin Grey and Lucy Coe. General Hospital viewers are saying they are expecting to see more of this new couple who might rival Scott and Liesel Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) as the new favorite couple.
