Why does Dollar Bill remain on the sidelines?

Those who enjoy The Bold and the Beautiful know the CBS soap often leaves popular characters bythe wayside to concentrate on a few others. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was practically nonexistant for months while focus was on Hope Logan (Anikka Noelle), Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and the Forrester Creations takeover. Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is another popular character who remains on the sidelines.

Fans will recall that Bill Spencer saved Li Finnegan's (Naomi Matsuda) life in July 2022 after a car crash. He found her disoriented and dazed and took her to the doctor then back to his home where he cared for her. Fans believed the duo were destined to become a couple, but instead, the show brought on Romy Park as Li's sister, Poppy Nozawa, who had a history with Bill.

Diamont celebrates 40 years on CBS

It's been a while since Dollar Bill had a serious romance, while Ridge Forrester (Torsten Kaye) goes back and forth between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Diamont recently celebrated 40 years on CBS Daytime, going back to his time as Brad Carlton on The Young and the Restless.

Brad showed up in Genoa City in 1984, and left a few times but always returned. Sadly, in 2008, the character died. He drowned while saving Noah Newman (last Rory Gibson) who fell through a frozen lake. Fans were shocked the beloved character was killed off, but a year later in 2009, Diamont joined the B&B cast as Bill Spencer Jr.

Spencer Publications has disappeared

Bill was always in his office plotting to take over the world or crush a competitor. He had several assistants over the years in cluding talk show host Sheryl Underwood and Allison Montgomery (Princess Thedora of Greece).

Unfortunately, not much action takes place at Spencer Publications anymore. Waoot Spencer (Darrin Brooks) is no longer around and Liam is keeping hsi father in gthe dark abotu his cancer dianosis. These days, Bill is lamenting that he is responsible for Luna Nozawa ( Lisa Yamamda) being out of prison.

Will Luna bring Bill and Li together?

Dollar Bill now thinks he made a bad decision and will discuss the situation with Li, who despises her adopted son's granddaughter. Can this connection bring Bill and Dr. Finnegan closer, or will they remain friends? Could they work together to stop Luna before she harms Steffy Finn (Jackie Wood).

The Bold and the Beautiful fans have complained for years that Bill needs a great storyline. It would be nice if he and Justin Barber (Aaron D Spears) reunited and got into difficult situations again.

Don Diamont is a celebrated soap vet

In 1990, Diamont was named one of PEOPLE Magazine's most beautiful people in the world. In 2006, he was voted one of the sexiest soap hunks of all time. He was the first daytime actor to receive the honor. He started in soaps as Carlo Forenza on Days of Our Lives, a character he portrayed for one year.

Don Diamont married Rachel Braun in 1994, and they have four sons but they divorced in 2002. He married Cindy Ambueht in 2012, and he has two sons with her for a total of six children. In 2021, Don Diamont did a crossover episode on The Young and the Restless.

This was his first time since he portrayed Brad. His additional television roles include Baywatch: White Thunder at Galsier Bay, High Tide, Diagnosis Murder, and Burke's Law. He was in the films Unbecoming Age, A Low Down Dirty Shame, The Incredible Adventures of Marco Polo, and Anger Management. Hopfully The Bold and the Beautiful will have Dollar Bill front and center soon.
