When I think of Tyler Perry a myriad of plays, stories and movies fill my mind, heart and soul.

He has taken the art of screenplays and stage plays to a whole new level.

There are very few things that get me excited or keep me entertained.

He has never disappointed me after watching one of his many creations.

When I read about this contest, he was the first person who came to mind. There were so many persons to chose from but after narrowing them down he was the only one who gave made me the most excited and passionate to write about.

The first movie that I ever saw form him was on the big screen. Now don’t get me wrong it was not his first rodeo, but it was the first on the big screen. I never had the pleasure of watching any of his stage plays in person, but I saw a few on DVD over the internet.

My first introduction to his creative mind was in the movie Diary of a Mad Black Woman. The trailers were exciting and very typical form of behavior from the Black Community.

A black man who divorced his wife, threw her out of his home and had two children with his Spanish mistress. The same story again and again. But no, this was different. Add the fact that he got shot and had to depend on the same woman he was throwing away to take care of him.

Add a spirited Madea, her family and a great script and viola a masterpiece on the BIG SCREEN.

Then hit after hit after hit came again and again

Tyler Perry’s Family Reunion, Family that Preys, Boo Halloween One and Two, Big Happy Family, Acrimony, I can do bad all by myself, Temptation, the list can go on and on.

These movies had touched on and introduced stories that have been kept hidden or swept under the rug because they were taboo to speak about.

He has touched on incestuous relationships- Family Reunion, I can do bad all by myself, being raped-Family Reunion, I can do Bad all by myself, Big Happy Family, sweet hearting-Family that Preys, sex out of wedlock, divorce-Diary of a Mad black woman, being addicted to drugs- Diary of a Mad Black Woman Alzheimer’s- the Family that Preys, Cancer-Big Happy Family, and HIV-,Temptation. They have opened the door to allowing the world to speak about and address hidden but never forgotten topics that the old folks don’t want to acknowledge.

If that was not enough, he has now moved to the small screen and has sitcom after sitcom to watch in the comfort of our homes.

Even though most of these movies have heartache, pain and suffering. We can never look pass all of the love, joy and never-ending feeling of being happy.

I have cried my share of tears from these emotional works of art that never become old and are relevant across all ages, races, genders, socioeconomic backgrounds, and sexual orientations.

Great scripts, filming and laughs to give you a Tyler fix every day of the week.

He has brought jobs, laughter, tears, superb acting and hours and hours of content to not only me but everyone in the world. Even a Global Pandemic has not stopped him or will stop the Talented Tasmanian Devil know as Mr. Perry.

He has inspired me to continue to pursue my dreams and write my words and fantasies on paper and share them with you and your community.

He has given me the confidence to keep pushing and striving to be the best me that I can be and to let my creative juices and stories flow.

We all have greatness within us. Stories that need to be shared, dreamed, and put into written word and story boards.

Mr. perry has given me through his acts of unselfishness and creations the will and determination to keep writing. Keep dreaming. Keep living and to keep my ideas alive.

Thank You Mr. Perry for your motivation, inspiration, determination, and success. It will never be forgotten!!
