Batwoman: My Thoughts (So Far) on Mary Hamilton's Heel Turn
So Season Two of Batwoman ended with the tease of the appearance of Batman villainess Poison Ivy, who, IMO, is quite underrated. Batman's collection of villains didn't have many females, but out of the few that were featured, Catwoman often gets the main spotlight, and even Harley Quinn has had bigger elevation than Poison Ivy. The vines started appearing in the final moments of Season Two, and we saw them a few times early in Season Three, and one episode saw them actually tangle Mary Hamilton, the affable doctor and member of the Batwoman team.

Brutally Honest Review Of 'The Batman'
Matt Reeves’ The Batman is another dark and gritty take on Batman. That might sound familiar to anyone who has watched a Batman film in the last 30 years, but Matt Reeve’s take on the caped crusader does a lot to set itself apart from the previous films in Batman’s cinematic history. Not only does it stand out from the previous “grounded,” “realistic,” and “dark” Batman movies, but it also rises above them to be one of, if not, the greatest Batman films we have ever had.

Review: "The Batman". Top Story - March 2022.
The character of Batman has been synonymous with film ever since he appeared in Tim Burton's take of the Caped Crusader back in the late 80s. It is easy to say that the character will forever be a staple in movie theaters, but many would argue that no film has truly captured what makes the great so great on the comic book panels. Until now. Burton's take on the character was much more cartoonish, Nolan's was more realistic and grounded in reality stripping away any of the larger-than-life elements of the character. Matt Reeves noir thriller film feels like it is straight ripped from the pages of many comic book fans' beloved stories. Reeves depiction of Gotham feels alive, and terrifying in its musty and moody crime-filled streets. It clearly draws inspiration from "The Long Halloween" and "No Man's Land", two stories that were loosely used even in Nolan's trilogy. Some may find fault in how each iteration of Batman has gotten darker and darker, but the character and the world he occupies need to be closer to what Reeves has crafted with this film for it to truly work.

'Flash' Stunt Crew Shirt Hints At Major Villain
Ezra Miller’s The Flash will finally make its way to theaters in November 2022. This film had a rough start but all seems to be on the right track now. While set photos have been leaked, the one thing that has remained on the down-low is the identity of the main villain of the movie. A photo released by a stunt crew member over the weekend showed a design of Supergirl, Batman, and an odd Flash design that may have gone unnoticed to the untrained eye. However, if you look carefully the design is less like The Flash and more akin to a certain villain.

Warner Bros. Drops Teaser Trailer With Footage From 'Black Adam', 'The Flash', 'The Batman' And 'Aquaman 2'
Last year was an odd year for Warner Bros regarding film releases. All of their movies were released simultaneously in theatres and on HBO Max. As a result, the traditional way of measuring success, a box office metric, was out of the question. However, with theatre exclusivity returning in 2022 and the recent tease of all their big releases, Warner Bros sure has come out of the gate strong from a marketing standpoint.

Which Director Understood Batman?. Top Story - February 2022.
Batman is one of the best characters in fiction. Not just comic books. Fiction; a tragic figure with identity issues, post-traumatic stress, perhaps sociopathy. Batman’s popularity has outlasted most of the heroes that debuted in his day because you can take him, drop him on an alien planet and he’d still be Batman. At first, he was a pulp hero; a crazy masked guy with a gun. This was wisely retconned, making Batman more layered, the reason he’s one of the most popular comic characters ever. But what makes Batman…Batman? The costume, Bruce Wayne’s handsome billionaire playboy persona, martial arts expertise; a man in peak physical condition who’s also a genius. He fights extravagant psychotic villains. He has complicated relationships with his butler/father figure, Alfred, and his surrogate Bat Family. He has a strict moral code, refusing to murder even the most violent criminals, and finally his compassion, the core of Batman. I’ve obsessed over him my whole life. I’m not exaggerating. It’s bad.
