Blake Lively Vs Justin Baldoni : It get's a lot messier

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni together starred in the movie "It Ends With Us". This movie was based on the book by Collen Hoover. Justin and Blake played the leads in this movie . Justin Baldoni would also the director of this movie . Before this movie even hit the theatres, there has been a lot of drama . This drama is getting messier and messier every second. It's like the whole internet is invested in their drama. 

Before this movie even hit the theatres , Blake Lively faced severe backlash , because of the way she promoted this movie . Both Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively promoted this movie differently and people were really confused . People who did not read book and did not know what this movie was about was really confused as to why the leads are promoting this movie in two different directions. So, when people finally saw the movie in theaters , they were shocked by the theme of the movie. Most people were not prepared for it. Then and there , the whole Internet turned against Blake. 

People were so mad with the way Blake promoted this movie. The basic theme of this movie was about domestic violence, but she literally promoted this movie as some sort of chick flick, which it was not. While Justin Baldoni on the other hand promoted this movie in the way it was supposed to be promoted. Before the release of this movie, Blake and other caste members painted Justin as the bad guy and that was the reason why other cast members unfollowed him on Instagram. But when the movie finally came out, the whole Internet turned against Blake and Justin came out as a hero towards the end. From this point on , this drama get's very messy. A video of Blake's old interview would resurface at this time. In that video Blake was very rude to the interviewer and even made her feel uncomfortable. The hatred towards Blake Lively intensified further. In that video Blake Lively was giving a mean girl vibe, and people all over the internet was hating on her and people immediately switched sides and they were supporting Justin. 

December 2024 , Blake Lively sued Justin Baldoni for inappropriate behaviour in the set. Blake's suit stated that Justin was very inappropriate on the set and even made her feel uncomfortable. Her suit even stated that she promoted the movie according to the movie studio's demands. The studio wanted Blake to promote this movie in a light-hearted manner , so people would go to the theatre to watch the movie. Both Blake and Justin had to sign a contract stating that they would promote this movie in this manner. But, Justin went in a different direction on his own without even consulting his other cast members. Blake even showed the contract as proof.

Her suit further stated that Justin did this purposely. He saw that Blake was facing so much backlash , so she claimed that Justin planned to destroy her career further. Justin wanted to destroy her reputation . To sum it up, her suit was basically stating that Justin created a hostile environment for her. Blake's husband Ryan Reynold served as her representative. At this point some people started to support Blake. The whole internet became divided. Half were team Blake while other half were team Justin.

Things get's messier further when Justin files a $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds . He was claiming $400 m on claims of civil extortion , defamation , and invasion of privacy. This suit also accused Ryan Reynolds of using his Hollywood connections to remove Justin Baldoni from future projects. Justin's teams stated that Blake's team manipulated behind the scenes footage to depict him as a predator.

Justin even launched a website and released a 168 page documents showcasing all the texts and emails shared between them during production. There was this one exchange that notably stood out. Blake had proposed a change in a pivotal-roof-top scene in this movie. But apparently Justin had shot her down. Blake even went to his house with Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift to force this change on him. Yeah , you heard me even Taylor Swift somehow got involved in their drama. 

Following this exchange Justin would sent Blake a voice note at 2 am which has been leaked to the public. The voice note says :

"Hey Blake, it's two in the morning. Hopefully this does not wake you up."

"I want to start with an apology," he continued. "Man, reading the second part of your message, my heart sank. I'm really sorry. I for sure fell short and you worked really hard on that. The way you framed it and how it made you feel, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing that with me.

"I feel really grateful that you feel safe enough to tell me that that's how you feel and share that with me. And I'm really sorry. I fucked up. That is a fail on my part.

"I am far from perfect. I'm a very flawed man, as my wife will attest …. but I will always apologize and then find my way back to centre. That is one thing I can assure you of. And I'm sorry I made you feel that way, that must have felt terrible."

He even continued to talk about the infamous meeting between him , Blake Lively ,Ryan Reynolds, and Taylor Swift.

"Damn right, you've got great friends. FucK, we should all have friends like that, aside from the fact that they're two of the most creative people on the planet," he said, before adding, "The three of you guys together is unbelievable. Talk about energy. Just a force, all three of you."

He also spoke about the script , calling the script really good.

"I'm excited to go through the whole movie with you," he said, laughing occasionally. "I'm just excited to spend time with you. I'm excited to be in your sphere and your presence and for us to share creative juices together although that sounds terrible."

This voice message was sent to Blake at 2 am . This voice note has become a focal point in their legal battle.

The internet has been divided . Some taking side side of Blake , while others taking the side of Justin. Their trial has been set for March 2026.
