"Beyond the Gates" Week 15 Review
Week 15 sees some long overdue drama, a health scare, and a huge revelation coming to light

So, Week 15 really brought down the house... big time! We were treated to a lot of crazy developments, and the week ended with a long overdue public revelation that I had been begging to see happen for several weeks. Hard to believe that we're almost four months into Beyond the Gates, and this show just keeps getting more and more delicious.
So let's take a look at the highlights:
June 2

So we finally see Sharon, the third member of the Articulettes, on the Monday episode. As we quickly see, both Sharon and Tracy have one similar trait: both have antipathy towards Anita regarding how things ended with the group. The thing is, Sharon's the one who is more outright with it, and we see Sharon's bitterness and immense jealousy displayed big time. As I said in a previous recap, watching this reminds me of all of the stories I've heard about The Supremes, all of the drama and bitterness. Holy moley!

It was nice to see Naomi appear in the Tuesday episode, it does seem like Naomi hasn't been seen too much ever since that storyline regarding the women suing Bill's firm came to an abrupt end. Arielle Prepetit has been amazing as Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne, especially during that aforementioned angle. According to her IMDB profile, Prepetit's list of credits includes mostly short films and bit roles, with BTG being her biggest break, and she is continuing to really show out.

So Bill's health is getting worse. We remember the hand trembling weeks prior, and this week saw Bill suffer something similar to a stroke, but it wasn't called that. As Bill was hospitalized, we saw Dani (of all people) urge her ex-husband to keep on fighting, and boy, was Hayley's jealousy immense. There's no way in hell that Hayley sticks around should Bill's health reaches a point where he'll need her constant care. Absolutely no way. Hayley will bleed him dry and then get the hell out. I'll bet on that.

So at long last, Eva and Laura meet. This happened because Laura needed help with a system Eva had installed, and that was quite the awkward meeting right there. Laura, from the looks of this, was definitely certain that Eva had nothing to do with the accident that sidelined her. That makes Laura a much better person than Kat, because Kat refuses to see that Eva is a victim in Leslie's bullshit. It's ridiculous how far gone Kat is when it comes to Eva. Laura doesn't hold Eva responsible. That alone is a sign.

How fitting. On the day that D-Day was honored, it was D-Day regarding Vanessa McBride finally... finally learning about her hubby's extracurricular activities. Vanessa's latest meeting with Joey sees Doug appear at the casino, and it's right there that Vanessa learns about her hubby's gambling habit, as well as Doug's immense debt to Joey. She also learns that Joey plans to use Vanessa in a money laundering scheme. I absolutely love Vanessa's indignation to Joey; she definitely had that Big Damn Good energy for sure. I am pulling for Doug and Vanessa to say strong in the face of this.

The fifteenth week of Beyond the Gates was definitely one to remember, though that's a phrase I'll be saying a lot. I'm very amped to see what Week 16 will bring, I truly sense some stunning developments and some twists and turns that will even make the famous Lombard Street look like a simple, mundane drive. My seatbelts are definitely fastened for this wild ride!

I love this show but the new actor playing Ted is getting on my nerves. I do not like his acting at all.
