Attack on Titan Power Rankings

Every major character ranked from weakest to strongest, based only on on-screen power

By Top RankedPublished about 8 hours ago 3 min read

The world of Attack on Titan isn’t about heroes saving the day—it’s about survival, desperation, and the brutal cost of war. Some characters seem unstoppable but fall quickly, while others slowly reveal terrifying strength and strategy. A select few operate on a level so far beyond everyone else that the rules of life and death barely apply.

This list ranks every major character from weakest to strongest, based solely on what we’ve seen on screen. No manga feats. No popularity contests. No moral arguments. Just raw power, skill, and the danger they pose when the walls come down.

10. Cart Titan (Pieck Finger)

Highly mobile and capable of staying transformed for extended periods, the Cart Titan excels in endurance-based warfare and long-term operations. While it lacks the raw combat durability of other Titans, its versatility, intelligence, and ability to carry heavy artillery make it a crucial support unit. In direct one-on-one combat, however, it struggles against more power-focused shifters.

9. Jaw Titan (Porco Galliard / Falco)

Blazing speed, razor-sharp claws, and one of the strongest bite forces among the Nine Titans make the Jaw Titan extremely lethal in close quarters. Its agility allows it to overwhelm slower opponents quickly, but its relatively smaller size leaves it vulnerable against heavier, more durable Titans. In the right hands, it’s devastating — yet often outmatched in prolonged clashes.

8. Mikasa Ackerman

A thunderstorm with blades, Mikasa combines Ackerman instincts with elite ODM mastery to rival Titan shifters without possessing Titan powers herself. Her speed, precision, and battlefield awareness allow her to go toe-to-toe with enemies far larger than herself. While she lacks regeneration or transformation abilities, her consistency and composure under pressure make her one of humanity’s most reliable warriors.

7. Female Titan (Annie Leonhart)

With balanced attributes across strength, agility, endurance, and combat skill, the Female Titan is one of the most well-rounded forms in the series. Annie’s martial arts training enhances its close-quarters effectiveness, and her hardening ability boosts both offense and defense. The added ability to attract Pure Titans with her scream provides dangerous strategic utility in chaotic battles.

6. Armored Titan (Reiner Braun)

The Armored Titan’s near-impenetrable plating makes it a walking fortress on the battlefield. Though slower and less agile than many other Titans, its durability allows it to absorb massive punishment and continue fighting. Reiner’s experience and resilience compensate for mobility weaknesses, cementing this Titan as a frontline powerhouse.

5. Beast Titan (Zeke Yeager)

The Beast Titan’s true strength lies in precision and strategy rather than brute force. Zeke’s devastating, baseball-like projectile throws can wipe out entire squads instantly, and his control over Titans created from his spinal fluid gives him terrifying battlefield influence. Combined with his tactical intelligence, he becomes far more dangerous than his physical frame initially suggests.

4. Levi Ackerman

Humanity’s strongest soldier earns the title through relentless efficiency and unmatched combat speed. Levi has repeatedly overwhelmed Titan shifters, including blitzing Zeke’s Beast Titan multiple times under extreme conditions. Even without Titan powers, his skill ceiling rivals the strongest enhanced beings in the series.

3. War Hammer Titan (Lara Tybur)

Unlike other Titans, the War Hammer can generate hardened crystal weapons at will, shaping blades, spikes, and structures directly from the ground. This ability grants both ranged dominance and close-combat versatility, making it one of the most creatively dangerous Titans. Its only real weakness lies in the exposed human body connected by a hardened cord, a vulnerability that ultimately led to its defeat.

2. Colossal Titan (Bertholdt / Armin)

A walking natural disaster, the Colossal Titan’s transformation alone unleashes an explosion capable of leveling entire districts. Its immense size and steam-based defense make approaching it nearly impossible without severe casualties. Though slow and vulnerable in extended combat, its overwhelming destructive power places it near the top.

1. Eren Yeager (Founding / Attack / War Hammer / Colossal)

By the end of the series, Eren transcends the limitations of a single Titan form. With access to the Founding Titan’s control, the Attack Titan’s foresight, the War Hammer’s weapon creation, and the Colossal’s scale, he becomes an apocalyptic force. Initiating the Rumbling and commanding countless Colossal Titans, Eren operates on a level that reshapes the entire world.
