Anora Explained: Was Ani's love real or was she greedy?

Anora, whose nickname is Ani, is 23 years old and lives in Brooklyn with her sister and her grandmother, who is Russian.

Ani is a stripper in a nightclub, and one day, her boss introduces her to a young Russian guy who is actually looking for someone who can speak Russian.

So Ani was the only one in the whole club who could speak a little Russian.

Ani goes to Vanya on her boss's advice, and you know what, when Vanya hears Ani's Russian, he is very impressed with her, and before leaving, he asks Ani if they can meet outside the club. Ani says yes without thinking much.

The very next day, Ani goes to Vanya's house, which is not a house but a mansion where Vanya is alone, and then both of them have some fun in bed, after which Ani asks Vanya what he does, whether he is a software engineer or an app developer.

So, while answering this, Vanya jokingly tells her that he is a drug dealer.

Hearing their answer, Ani believes him to be true and that, yes, he is a drug dealer; then he starts laughing and changes his statement, and then says that he is a gun dealer.

And again, Ani believes that, yes, it is possible that Vanya is telling the truth and he is a gun dealer.

But this is too much; again, Vanya starts laughing and says, no, there is nothing like that.

The fact is that Vanya's parents are very rich; they have private jets, supercars, big mansions, everything.

When Vanya tells Ani the name of his father, Ani has no idea whose name he is talking about, so Vanya says google it.

When Ani google that name, she finds out that he is the son of a wealthy Russian oligarch. He has come to America to spend his vacations, but after coming here, he is busy only with parties and video games.

After meeting that day, Vanya contacts Ani and asks if she is available for a week if she can be his girlfriend for a week and for this, Vanya will pay her a good amount, meaning whatever price she asks for.

Finally, the deal was done for fifteen thousand dollars; even Vanya was ready to give thirty thousand.

After this, they don't know what night, day or evening is; they both just keep partying, and one day, randomly, they go to Las Vegas in their private jet.

Now, in the middle of all this, Vanya gets the idea that if he marries an American, he will not have to go back to Russia, and he will not have to handle his family business.

At first, he talks vaguely, and Ani is also not serious, but after a while, this conversation converts into a very serious talk.

Vanya tells Ani that he is very serious and he wants her to marry him so that he can get a green card.

Hearing this, Ani laughs at first and thinks that he is joking. She tells him, do you even know what you are saying? You are talking about marriage, not dating.

So Vanya says that his talk sounds like a joke; he is very serious right now.

When Vanya repeatedly asks Ani to marry him, she agrees and they both get married in Vegas.

After coming back from there, Ani first quits her job, so her boss's reply is that he will not introduce any rich customers from now on because if this starts happening, then almost all the good girls in his club will leave just like Ani left, then what will happen to his business?

After leaving there, Ani goes to her home and starts packing, etc., and after informing her sister, she shifts to Vanya's mansion.

Only a few hours had passed since the marriage when the news went viral all over the world that Vanya had married a prostitute.

Now the reaction of Vanya's family was like this - what nonsense is this?

To find out the truth, Toros has been sent. Toros is Vanya's godfather and has been taking care of him since childhood.

Toros takes some time to reach New York, so he sends two people before him, Garnik and Igor, both of whom are henchmen.

These two look very dangerous, and when they reach the mansion, Vanya does not let them enter; so they forcefully enter the mansion, and they start arguing with Vanya.

Vanya again and again tries to get Garnik and Igor out of the house but they don't go out. They say that until Toros doesn't come, they won't leave the house and won't let Vanya and Ani go.

They tell Vanya that because of your stunt, your parents are coming here to meet you.

After hearing this, Vanya gets very scared and runs away from there leaving Ani behind.

Ani is not able to understand why all this is happening.

Meanwhile, Toros arrives and asks where Vanya is. Garnik and Igor tell him that he has run away and Ani is also trying to run away. He tells both of them not to let her go.

Ani repeatedly says that her marriage is genuine and also shows the ring. Toros says that first take her ring and take all the papers.

During this whole struggle, all three notice that Ani is very strong because she has cut Igor's ear and broken Garnik's nose. So both Garnik and Igor tie her hands and legs.

Also, they are so scared of Ani that if she opens up, then what will happen to them, especially Garnik, is in the most tension.

When Ani repeatedly asks them to get out of the house, Toros clearly tells her that they have a big misunderstanding; this house is not Vanya's but his parents.

Continuing his point, Toros also underlines that Vanya is not at all what you are thinking, he is a spoiled child of a rich father.

Toros tells Ani that you knew Vanya for just a few days, but I knew him since childhood and this is not the first time he has done this, I have been fixing his mess for years, so understand that he does not love you at all because he has not matured yet, he is a small child who plays video games day and night and keeps troubling his parents.

Ani has no idea how influential Vanya's family is.

Speaking further, Toros says that it would be better if you listen to us and cancel your marriage, and Toros also offers Ani, I think, 15k dollars at the end.

Now after listening to all this, Ani starts understanding a little bit of reality.

Then all four of them go in search of Vanya like a team, i.e. Garnik, Igor, Toros, or Ani go to every place where Vanya might be.

When they get tired of searching, then Ani gets a message from her friend that Vanya is at her club, this is the same club where Ani used to work in the past and see, this is where Ani and Vanya met for the first time.

Now, when all four reach there to take Vanya, Ani tries to convince Vanya as soon as she gets the chance, but he is so drunk that he is hardly able to understand anything.

Then it is morning, but till then, Ani keeps explaining to Vanya that we have got married and it is legal, we will not cancel our marriage under anyone's influence, etc.

But Vanya is in some other mood and nothing is affecting him because he is still not in his senses.

As soon as all of them reach the court, Ani immediately turns around, and expresses her thoughts in front of the judge by whining that we are being pressured to cancel the marriage; we got married perfectly, following all the rituals, and we love each other.

During the conversation, it is revealed that they got married in Vegas, so the marriage will be cancelled there.

On hearing this, Toros replies that I left you alone for only two weeks, I was not in your contact and what all mischief you did in the meantime, he tells Vanya.

On the other side, Vanya's parents reach America on their private jet. The entry of Vanya's parents is actually very dangerous. They are not only seen as dangerous; in fact, their aura also looks very dangerous. Everyone gets tense on seeing them.

Vanya's mom calls Vanya to her and scolds her a lot for her behaviour. Then suddenly, Ani notices that Vanya's behaviour has totally changed in front of her mom.

He starts behaving like a small child who cannot say anything in front of his parents and seeing all this, Ani gets very angry and finally believes Toros' words.

Vanya's mom threatens Ani that if she does not cancel this marriage, she will wipe out all traces of her family, her friends and all the people who know Ani, and she will give her a miserable life for a lifetime.

Despite this, Ani tries to talk to Vanya again and tries to convince him, but still, Vanya does not speak strongly; he just says that Mom or Dad has come and we will have to cancel this marriage, and that's it.

Ani gets angry at Vanya and says that it is good that our marriage is getting cancelled, otherwise spending life with you is unacceptable for him now.

Finally, everyone reaches Vegas for the marriage annulment. Everything is already fixed there, so all the papers are signed quickly, and after the papers are signed, Igor tells Vanya that he should apologize to Ani Vanya's mom says that her son will not apologize to anyone.

After this whole scene, Toros asks Igor to drop Ani back home, so he takes her to New York so that she can pack her things.

There both of them, i.e. Igor and Ani, spend time together. As they start talking, their talk starts converting into an argument. Ani tells Igor that he assaulted her and his eyes look more like a criminal's. Hearing this, Igor gets a little sad. It can be anyone, even me, if someone says this pointlessly.

The place where Igor and Ani are is the same Vanya mansion where everything started.

The next morning, when Igor takes Ani to her home to drop her off, he returns her diamond ring to her and tells her not to tell anything to anyone.

When Igor puts all of Ani's stuff out of the car at her house and comes to her, Ani's feelings have completely changed. That's why she noticed many times that Igor takes a lot of care of Ani during this whole time, but she keeps ignoring him intentionally.

Finally, after all these things, it becomes clear that Igor likes Ani, so finally, she accepts his feelings, and then she starts crying, then Igor consoles her, and the movie ends with a happy ending.

This movie starts in a carefree way and comes in a serious way where Ani feels that there is a Cinderella-type life, and after some time, she also realizes that nothing like this happens; it is just talking, and the reality is something else in actuality.
