with carved beams

I was thrown into the sea by my brothers and quickly sank to the bottom of the sea. Later, under the impact of the current, it slowly rose to the surface. Then, suddenly, a bird as big as a man swooped down from the sky and immediately picked me up and soared. In a daze, I opened my eyes and saw that I was in a palace with carved beams and painted buildings and decorated with all kinds of treasures. There was a woman sitting on a jeweled throne in the midst of a crowd of beautiful girls. Her whole body was glittering with jewels, radiating a dazzling radiance that made it impossible to open the eyes of those who faced her.

Just then, the great bird that had flown me into the palace suddenly shook itself into a celestial girl. She was the white snake I met in the mountains, chased and bullied by the black snake. Then the woman sitting on the throne said to the girl, "Who is this man? Why have you brought him here?"

"Mother, this is the brave man who saved my name with his brave actions at a time of crisis." Then she asked me, "Do you know me?"

"Never seen you before." I replied.

"I met you in the desert mountains. I was fighting to the death with a black snake, and you saved me by killing it."

"I only saw a white snake fighting with a black snake."

"I am the white snake. But I am Theodai, daughter of the Red King of the gods. This is my mother on the throne, princess of the Red King. The black snake, who had been the Black King's prime minister, was named Delfil, a shameless man with a very ugly character. The first time he saw me, he wanted to own me, so he brazenly proposed to my father. My father refused and sent a reply: 'You, scum of the gods, do not see what you are to marry the daughter of a king. 'For this reason he was angry and vindictive, ready to pursue his evil purpose. From then on he watched my movements, where I went, where he followed me, intent on killing me. There was a fierce battle between him and my father, but he was so cunning that it was difficult to subdue him completely. Whenever my father had the upper hand and victory was in sight, he was always able to take the opportunity to run away, so there was no way out. Every day I changed a form, a colour, to avoid him; but every time I changed form, he correspondingly changed into an antagonistic form; Wherever I ran to hide, he could smell me and follow me there, leaving me in constant danger. When I became a white snake and fled into the mountains, he also became a black snake and followed me to the mountains. When I was almost unable to support myself in the battle, you came and stoned him to death, and I was out of danger. I said to you at that time, 'I accept your kindness, and I will repay you. 'When I saw your brothers murder you and throw you into the sea, I had this chance to repay you. You have done me a great service, and deserve the respect of our family." Then she said to the concubine, "Mother, please respect him because he saved your daughter's life."

"On behalf of my family, I welcome you as our guest! Because you have done us good and deserve our respect." Then she gave me a set of very valuable clothes and some gold and silver and jewels. At last she said, "Take him to the king."

So they took me to a temple, and I saw the king sitting on his throne. The guards around him are tall and heavily guarded. His coat was full of jewels and jewels, and it shone brightly. I was dazzled at the sight of him and dared not look him in the face. When the king saw me, he rose to meet me, and all his guards rose to their feet. The King welcomed me, blessed me, treated me with great respect, and gave me the most precious gifts. Then the king said to his guards, "Take him to Princess Theodai."

The princess decided to send me back to the ship, so she carried me on her back and carried the King's gift with her.

And as soon as my brothers had thrown me overboard, the Captain, who was asleep, heard a noise. 'What has fallen into the sea?' he asked. At once my brothers cried out with false compassion, "Our brother is dead. When he defecated on the string of the boat, he was swept away by the waves and drowned." Then they began to rob me, and quarreled about her, saying to each other, "She is mine, and no one shall touch her."
