What the Weapons to Max Before Black Ops 7 Season 1
Helping players prepare their weapons before the arrival of Black Ops 7 Season 1

The season change is coming fast. If you want an edge day one, you need weapons that are already fully set up. Some players wait for easy methods like a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby or wish for doubled XP weekends. The real, steady way to prepare is to level the guns that will matter when Warzone Season 1 begins.
Why do this now
New seasons change maps, movement, and weapon balance. That means a gun you do not know well will feel worse. A weapon with key attachments unlocked works better in real fights. It helps you win more fights and learn the new map faster. Spend time on the weapons that give the widest advantage first.
Core Trio — M4A1: the anchor
The M4A1 is the safe pick. It aims steady and shoots where you point. Level it to unlock stocks and muzzles that cut recoil and raise bullet speed. Those parts let the gun hit targets at 30–40 meters without wild kick. Focus your unlocks on range and velocity first. Then add a big mag (60+) so you do not lose fights in Trios or Quads. Practice with the full kit so you know how it feels when you move and shoot.
Core Trio — TR2: the finisher
The TR2 will clear rooms and win close fights. It fires fast and drops enemies quickly when you land shots. Level attachments that boost sprint-out, hip accuracy, and ADS speed. Pick a short barrel, light stock, and a laser if you want better hip fire. Make the TR2 your go-to when you expect fights inside buildings or tight corners. It fills the gap the M4A1 cannot cover.
Core Trio — Dravik: the specialist
The Dravik is for fast, mobile sniping or marksman work. It trades raw range for speed and quick follow-ups. Level the scopes that give a clear 4×–8× sight and add a heavy suppressor to stay off the radar. Aim for parts that keep you moving fast so you can peek, tag a target, and reposition. The Dravik shines when you need to finish a plated foe at distance without getting stuck in a slow setup.
Preparing for returning favorites — Maddox and Kagit 7
Old favorites often come back. The Maddox can act like an aggressive AR that keeps up with SMG play. Level fast stocks and barrels that raise bullet speed so it works at mid range. The Kagit 7 feels compact and quick. Treat it like a TR2: speed and ADS time are the unlocks to chase. If these guns return strong, having their attachments ready gives you instant value on day one.
The fastest way to level — the Supply Run loop
Plunder with Supply Run contracts is the steady XP farm right now. Pick Plunder and equip the weapon you want to level as your active gun. Use an XP token when you can. Land where you can reach several Buy Stations fast. Grab the Supply Run, run to the Buy Station, and cash out. Do not buy items unless you must. Look for the next nearby Supply Run and repeat. Legendary or Epic Supply Runs give extra XP, so prefer them. This loop lets you get many contract completions in one long match and racks up weapon XP far faster than normal kills. If other players hope to use a CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies or odd exploits, you can avoid that and still get reliable progress.
Put the M4A1, TR2, and Dravik at the top of your list. If older fan favorites like the Maddox or Kagit 7 show up, slide them next. Use Plunder Supply Runs to keep control of your XP flow. Leveling this way keeps you away from shaky exploits and gives you real practice with the full weapon setups.
