The World Cup missed because of the curse! Shami's ex-wife Hasin's post creates a stir
He is the highest wicket-taker in this year's World Cup. Even after that, the World Cup is elusive for India. Mohammad Shami could not make a mark in the final match on November 19.
India will win the World Cup by playing at home. For the last month, the countrymen were hoping for this. On November 19, Indian cricket fans' dreams were shattered at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. India lost to Australia by six wickets on Sunday. Despite being the highest wicket-taker in this year's World Cup, Indian bowler Mohammad Shami's performance in the final match is not that memorable.
But in the match just before that, Shami took seven wickets in the semi-final. Shami's ex-wife Hasin Jahan has already made several suggestive posts on social media after India lost the World Cup on Sunday. Without mentioning Shami's name, Hasin said, "Good things happen to good people in the end, they win in the end." In a new post, Hasin wrote, "Curse takes time to bear fruit!" Is the target of this post also her ex-husband Shami?
In a post on the social media page, Hasin wrote, "If my prayer is so strong, then imagine how strong my curse is! And this is to be known... both prayers and curses take time to bear fruit.'' Come on, the good guys win in the end.” Even though Shami's name was not mentioned, the netizens did not find it difficult to understand that it was the Indian bowler who was targeted by Hasin.
Incidentally, in an interview before the World Cup final, Hasin said, “If Shami was as good as a cricketer as he was as a person, our lives would have been different. Me, my husband and my daughter - the three of us could live a beautiful life together. But, for that, Shami had to be a good person first. Apart from being a good cricketer, if we were a good husband and a good father, we would have gained a lot more respect in the society."
Shami recalls that, eight years after his remarkable achievement of taking 24 wickets in the World Cup, the doctor advised him to let go of the game.
He took 24 wickets in just seven matches. He has been terrible in every match except the final. But eight years ago Shami was told by doctors to forget about the game.
Mohammed Shami got a place in the first XI of the World Cup after Hardik Pandya was injured. He took 24 wickets in just seven matches. He has been terrible in every match except the final. But eight years ago Shami was told by doctors to forget about the game.
Shami had knee problems in 2015. Surgery is done. Shami said at that time that he fought back. Shami said, “I can bear the pain. In 2015 my knee was not doing well. I had two options. Leaving a competition to undergo knee surgery. Two, playing with injections and having surgery after the competition.
I chose the second one. After the game, my teammates would go to the hotel and I would go to the hospital. Nothing can be bigger than the country's game. I was unconscious for two hours after the surgery. I asked the doctor to regain consciousness, when will I be able to play again? He said, "Forget the game, if you can walk fairly well that's a big deal."
Shami was injured in a car accident in 2018. On his way from Dehradun to Delhi, his car was hit by a truck. Shamir was injured in the head. A few days before that, Hasin Jahan had filed a case of wife rape against Shami in Kolkata. Shami said, "I could not understand how the accident happened. At that time I had Z category security. My car used to have two cars in front and two cars in the back. It hit my car. I went back to Dehradun. After recovery, I started practicing there. It was a tough time, but I didn't run away."
Shami returned to the field after recovering. He also played in the World Cup in 2019. Shami did not get a chance to play in the first four matches of this World Cup. He played a total of 7 matches. That's why he took 24 wickets out of the total 70 wickets of the opponent. That is, 38.33 percent of the wickets were taken by Bengal's strong bowlers alone. Shami is the highest wicket taker in the World Cup.
