Why Do I Collect And Play Retro/Modern Video Games???
Please note: This is me literally putting my ideas down. Aplogies if something seems vague or nonsensical. There is one memory that I always love to share. This memory is of great signfigance to me as a collector and how I view what a video game should offer. When I was four years old, I decided to mozy on into my oldest borthers room to see what he was up to. To my delight, he had the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time running on one of those glorious, big-boxed CRTVs and the N64 system tucked in on the shelf just underneath it. Now, my brother was always good and thoughtful to us youngins'. You see, there was three of us total in the household. Sharing gaming consoles was more or less a challenge in an of itself. But there was those rare times that my brother would let me in to his room and mess around on his N64. That is where the jounrey will begin; on the bed of my oldest brothers room holding that controller in my hand to embark on my first ever adventure.

The Joy of Retro
I've been a gamer almost my entire life. I was wrapping my hand around an Atari 2600 joystick before I was even in kindergarten. In fact, when people on Twitter label those who started gaming with Halo on the original Xbox as "old-school", I can't help but laugh.

Tecmo Bowl Review (1989)
Super Bowl LIV is in a few days and most of you are planning on attending a party somewhere or hosting one to entertain your friends, family, and other guests. Speaking of football, I’ll be reviewing a game that I’ve been hooked on for the last three years. That game is none other than Tecmo Bowl. Just to remind everyone that I’m reviewing the game that’s on the NES Classic. Tecmo Bowl was originally released as an arcade game in 1987. The NES version of the game was released in 1989, becoming the first game to have real NFL players, via a license from the National Football League Players Association, or NFLPA. If you have the NES Classic, you noticed that every team is identified by their home state or city. That’s because the company Tecmo wasn’t able to get permission from the NFL to use them.

A Personal History of Gaming
I read a post on social media which proclaimed the 16-Bit era of gaming was the best. This statement caused a lot of debate. As someone who has been an avid gamer for the past 25 years, having even worked in a video-game store, I completely agree with that statement.

Genesis Does What Nintendon't: Sega Genesis at 30
30 years ago today, a 16-bit home video game console was introduced to the masses. That gaming system was the Sega Genesis and it released over 900 games. To date, it had sold almost 31 million units and its best selling game was Sonic the Hedgehog, which sold 15 million units. I'll be sharing some of my favorite Sega Genesis games that I loved playing as a kid, in no particular order. In about a month, the Sega Genesis Mini is set to be released and will include 42 pre-installed games. It will go on sale for $79.99 and if you would like to see the full list of games, you can click the link down below. I've written an article about it two months ago, so be sure to check it out. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy my list of Sega Genesis games.
