Have Some Trigger Discipline in Tarkov
With Tarkov getting very interesting recoil changes over the last couple of weeks, it has been feeling better and better to use a larger variety of weapons in the game. There was a long period that unfortunately, it felt as though there were only a handful of weapons that were actually viable to fight other players and bosses with. The RD-704, Mutant, AKM (but only with a .308 suppressor on it), and maybe a min/maxed M4. SMGs were basically a joke (they still kind of are regarding ammo), and then of course there are niche weapons that are always usable but not mainstream, like bolt-actions. But to keep it simple, for a while, five weapons could consistently kill players. Luckily, all these gun and camera recoil changes are really bringing other weapons into the fray. On top of that, more build variety is being seen on these weapons, which I’d argue is more important, because with something like an AK or M4, yes, they are common weapons, but if they can be built a dozen ways, instead of one or two, that’s also really beneficial for what you see in the game. Hell, you might even get inspired by a gun you pick up and go ‘I want to build that’. However, one aspect to Tarkov that I feel as though people still kind of sleep on, is using their gun in single fire. I would say burst fire for those guns that can use it, but burst is fundamentally broken so it will never work as intended (with one exception). But, for the rest of the guns in the game, single fire feels better to use the more I mentally make the adjustment in my head that I am tap shooting. And I would highly suggest others give it a try as well.

If You See the Shot in Tarkov, Take it.
Let me paint you a picture; you have a weapon with some range. Could be a DMR, bolt-action, or even just an AR with a scope. You’re in a little perch, not being bothered by anyone. And then you see them; your target. Probably about 110 meters (about 360.89 ft) out. They’re moving along not a care in the world, and then they stop to loot something. You drag the reticle to their head. You line up the shot, but you hesitate for just a fraction of a second; just a couple frames in game. And then the person runs off and you missed your opportunity. It’s hard not to beat yourself up after messing up a relatively easy shot. But it’s okay, because my honest advice to get better at these situations is to just take the shot. Whatever happens after, you’ll figure it out. But seriously, take the shot.

Tarkov's Cultists are Disappointing
If there was one addition to Tarkov that we all knew was coming but didn’t have a concrete idea as to when it was going to happen, it was the cultists. These guys have been eluded too for so long, with the first marked room on Customs; a place where for a long time, the potential from crazy good loot like weapon cases was possible. That room and the circles around the other maps have been reduced in their generosity considerably over the years, but we all knew these mysterious folks would one day make their grand entrance. And oh boy did they. I remember, it was the patch where BSG gave the player base that red AKM and like 800 rounds of BP, which was a stupid idea. But regardless, at least they gave us a fighting chance against these doods. Because when they came out, they were terrifying; once the first video of their existence in the game surfaced, it was as if the nighttime raids became something akin to a horror movie. Only being located on Customs, Shoreline, and Woods, the chance of hearing that swiping sound behind you, only to flick your flashlight on and see a silhouette in all black disappear into the night, before the hail of bullets and grenades began to surround you. These guys were no joke; However, things have changed. And to be honest, the cultists have become quite a letdown over the years.
