The 10 Best Magic: The Gathering Packs Currently Being Sold
Magic: The Gathering, as many who play the game already know, is one of the longest founded trading card games in the history of portable games, even older than the 20 years of Pokémon. Although less popular than Pokémon, Magic has had considerable success, selling over two billion cards in its first five years and just recently boasting well over 20 billion cards printed during an eight-year height of popularity between 2008-2016. It seems that, more and more, social gamers are coming together to build on a classic, whether it be at home around the kitchen table or by way of tournament series' throughout the country, battling each other for bragging rights, cash prizes, or even small-scale scholarships. There is something to be admired about Magic: The Gathering for role-playing game enthusiasts and collectibles alike, and if you have been hearing a lot about Magic and are thinking about stepping into this world of expansive, strategic battles, here is a comprehensive list of the best Magic: The Gathering packs currently being sold on the market today.

'Magical Warrior Diamond Heart' Review
People always say something or someone is a “diamond in the rough,” but what kind of image comes to mind when you hear that? Do you imagine a diamond, the kind you see in the store on rings or necklaces, stuck in a cave wall and they just need a little cleaning before being set on gold? In reality, diamonds and all gems start out as these huge hunks of rocks that you would never guess that people would want. It is only after they get cut into all those hearts and squares all shined up do the gems have any value. So, the phrase “diamond in the rough” really means the start of a gem that needs a little time and effort to really shine. One diamond in the rough I found is a visual novel called Magical Warrior Diamond Heart, but to be honest, it is already shining pretty well.

Kingdom Hearts II: An Unabashed Praise
No matter how hard I try to stay away, I always find myself coming back to Square Enix’s crossover masterpiece, Kingdom Hearts II. Ever since the initial release, something about the game had always stuck with me, and I didn’t even finish it when I got it on launch day. It was not until Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was released on the Nintendo DS in 2009 that I found myself getting back into the series and eventually beating II when revisiting it. It was during this playthrough towards the end of 2009 that I truly felt entranced by this series, however II was the most fun I had through all of it. Because of my newfound infatuation with the series, in the subsequent years to come I had found myself saving up for the various systems the handheld games were being released on. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars and gameplay hours later, I still side with II as the absolute best in the series, in my opinion.

A Game That Anybody Can, and Everybody Should Play
***THIS REVIEW IS SPOILER FREE*** Finding new games to play is always a struggle. I was never a lineup-at-the-theater to watch a movie type of guy (unless maybe Star Wars); I was more of a wait until it comes out on DVD for rent kind of guy. In that sense, with Steam prices for "new" games like CoD:WWII and Monster Hunter going into the high 50s and 60s, I like to take a look back at what games that I've missed that I can grab at feasible prices. Released for PC in February 2016, Firewatch pulls a decent price of 19.99 USD on Steam (in Canada it costs 21.99 CAD, which means given the current currency exchange rate, it's about $3.2 USD cheaper to buy it in Canada).
