Anyone Can Paint D&D Miniatures
Every time I start talking about D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) and describe how I enjoy painting the miniatures used in the game, I always get, "I don't have the skill, time, or patience to do that." I can understand that maybe having the time to paint can be difficult with how busy life is becoming for everyone, but here is the thing: Anyone can paint a mini and have fun doing it. Why? Because it doesn't have to be perfect. Just like the game D&D, painting miniatures should be fun. There are so many resources out there to increase your painting ability, and now here is another. So, here is my first post on painting miniatures.

The self-titled collection in the northern hall followed three main pillars…

How a 17-Year-Old Video Game Inspired This Album of Electronic Music
The idea that video games can be considered art has long been accepted by mainstream critics. Time and again, this notion has been proven by games such as Okami and more recently Red Dead Redemption 2, showing that video games can contain the depth of an epic movie or even a classical painting. One of the most famous from this elite collection of games is Silent Hill 2.

Who Da Man? 'Horizon Zero Dawn' Composer Joris De Man Isn't Well Known, But His Music Is
While Horizon Zero Dawn has been highly praised for its graphics, gameplay, story, and character design, there's one element that seems to have been neglected thus far — the music. For years, Dutch composer Joris de Man has offered up some of the most aurally arresting soundtracks in gaming, yet few people think to ask the simple question: Who is the person behind the creativity?

Warframe's "This is What You Are" is Helping Me Cope with Loss
We live, we love, we lose, and we move forth with our lives. It's an endless dance we will continue with it until our time for our final bow comes near. It's a dance that we've become all to familiar with no matter how painful it goes, no matter how bad we want to stop, and exit the floor. This is something recently I've had to come to terms with as my closest friend, my great grandfather, and the one man I wish I could aspire to be passed on moments after I saw him last.

Make No Joke, 'Kingdom Hearts'-Style Joker Is Everything Glorious About This Crazy World
If there is one thing that DC Comics does right, it's creating iconic characters that are beloved for generations. Another of the studio's greatest abilities is conceiving classic villains for its heroes to wage war against. And one of these villains of course hails from the mean streets of Gotham City: the Joker.
