Metroid Fusion
Okay, it is time for a confession. My first real experience with 2D Metroid ever was Fusion. I had played the original NES game at a friend's house as a kid and I had just finished Metroid Prime around that time and loved it. However, that was the extent of my experience with the franchise. Some time around 2002 a friend of mine sold me his Gameboy Advance, but being a broke college student the only game I had for a long time was Mario Brothers 3. I went to visit my cousin for a week who lived about four hours away and there it was, sitting on a shelf in his living room. I asked him if I could play it while I was there, he said I could keep it. I slotted it into my Crystal Blue GBA, flipped the switch and fell in love instantly with Metroidvanias.

Why I'm "Going" For Pokemon Go!
Today my husband Graham and I drove to Gawler to Dead Man's Pass. We went there to have a nice walk on a pleasant winters day, and to do some more Pokemon Go-ing. It was certainly a pleasant way to spend some time, and follow a game we both enjoy! I'm new to this Pokemon Go craze, while my husband Graham has been playing it almost from the beginning.

Sometimes, I need a pick-me-up. Or a crap-ton of them…. Fortunately, in my years playing World of Warcraft, I’ve accumulated a number of letters from other players - often thanking me for good or kind deeds or gifts and giveaways. I hope I don’t come off as a humblebrag; I just want to share something that warms my heart on a rough day - and there are plenty of those in a year. I'm sure I'll be looking this article up in the future on bad days since I can look at many of the letters at once - without having to log into the game or looking all over my computers for the screenshots!

Why Phantasy Star 4 is one of the best games on Sega Genesis
One of the best video games ever made is the Phantasy Star 4 game on the Sega Genesis. I remember playing it a few times in my childhood. But It was not till recently that I sat down to really play this game. And let me tell you it is worth it. The story line and characters stories are just great. The game play and music are also great. I love the action, and all the bosses in the game. One thing that really stands out to me about this game is the amazing soundtrack.

The first generation of Pokémon games brings nostalgia to all despite the heavy bugs and glitches. Even though it is possible to beat the games with a combination of any Pokémon, there were some solo runs that are not possible to complete. When a Pokémon runs out of power points in all four moves, it will use the move Struggle. I only found this out recently, but your opponents have unlimited power points in Red, Blue and Yellow. This is one of the bugs fixed in the generation two games, Gold, Silver and Crystal. Struggle didn’t hit ghosts in the previous games, but it can now.

Shadowsithe Ghoststrike has led an interesting, ongoing adventure in World of Warcraft. First raised under the Banshee Queen in 2009 on the US Role Playing server, Blackwater Raiders, the Forsaken Outlaw (then Combat) Rogue has not only been reanimated within the context of the Forsaken race, but was once even deleted and brought back from the grave of scrapped code. While solo players are not unheard of in the MMORPG, Ghoststrike has taken a long, meandering route from “clueless casual” to a Guild Leader, server giveaway host, raw material farmer and (fairly minor) gold baron. Only, “fairly minor” in this case amounts to some 50 million gold!
