1. Why do you lie to your loyal fan base?

We all help and support your products, and we pay your bills in most regards. So why can't you be more translucent with your loyal fanbase. If you just explained more of your intentions on what you are doing; people would be much more supportive, instead of the deaf leading the blind. I bring this to your attention because you have changed ideas of what you are selling in many different ways. For example BO4 (Black Ops 4) was supposed to be a three year game. The COD to change CODs, but where did we end up. Getting spoon fed content with nothing to show for it. Letting us believe that we need to be in it for the long haul, then stealing that away? It doesn't make sense. So please enlighten your fanbase of why you lie to them constantly.

2. Do you have any empathy for those playing your games?

Are your supporters just peons in your eyes? Another statistic to show to your comrades? Your fans, whether they be of World of Warcraft or of Call of Duty; where is the love that you should show them? In WoW I would say you do pretty well with how monetization works. But in other games like BO4 and Overwatch, your greed shows. The loot boxes and the gambling mechanics really chew through someone's paycheck. It's not just adults; it's kids that waste money over and over just to get that special Tracer skin. It's not right. I know that you aren't the only company that is doing this, but you're one of the biggest. Locking content away so that the people who bought a sixty dollar game still have to put in that extra cash for a CHANCE to get the skin they want. Do you not see the corruption that you are bestowing on your fans. Do you have no love for gaming anymore?

3. Where is the originality?

Where is the AHHA moment when a game with a fresh new look and adventure. I haven't seen Activision release a new IP in years. Its all been remakes and remasters. Where is the spirit to find that new horizon? That new endeavor? Is it because it doesn't pay? Is it that you work everyone beneath you to the bone, and they don't have any energy left to get an idea? Once upon a time I knew a game developer that released fun new adventures all the time. Now what do they have? A shallow husk of what remains of a company that was full of life and prosperity; who has since fallen to corruption and business propositions. Have you lost your heart?

4. When will the chain end?

When will you stop forcing your employees to grind and burnout these games? When will you realize that a quality game still will sell better than your half baked content; even if you abandon your ways for one year. The flow of life will prosper. Why can't you see that your business wont be around in five years, if you don't let it get a breath of fresh air. You will wither and die. Why is it so hard to grasp?

5. Why are you in the gaming industry?

I need to know what is the point that you are making in this wonderful line of creative work? Everyone has the reason that they wanted to be in the career that they have chosen. But why you? What drives the company? No, it cant be money. I bet you don't really have a response now. Because once you take away the money, what is left. What do you have to show for yourself? What do you have to say that you are proud of?

These questions are honest ones that I wish I could ask Activision. It's very disheartening to be a gamer these day. Activision is just one developer in the whole valley of creation; but it makes me wonder, why are these big names even in it still. There is no joy to be had, there is no more grand ideas. All it's about is the money. I remember a time when game developers just did it to make art. To make something grand come to life. That just doesn't seem to be the dream anymore. Maybe one day it might happen. But until then, we need to open our eyes to the greed that is upon us. Don't just wait. stand up and speak out about it.

Sincerely,
