Why the GameCube Is My Favourite Console Ever
I was born in the autumn of 1998, meaning my earliest memories of gaming as a whole was dominated by my two older brothers playing the Nintendo 64. The familiar, mesmerising glow the screen would give when they played Rainbow Road for the umpteenth time is something that will be forever imprinted into my brain—and perhaps the reason why I'm so short-sighted today. But I am not alone. Nintendo was immensely popular at this time for all types of gamers, and had barrels of momentum rolling into the new millennium. Being able to easily compete and thrive with the rival consoles such as the Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's XBox, looking back now, it makes no sense how their newest console, the GameCube, didn't attract the same following. By the time the Playstation 2 was released, our family's N64 was shoved swiftly up onto the shelf, never to be seen (until one of us fancied going back to the OG first person shooter, GoldenEye 007) as there was so much more fun to be had with a more diverse idea of gaming. The revolutionary Grand Theft Auto III bought out the dangerous side of gaming on a wider scale, and despite accusations of this franchise creating monsters and serial killers, it will still remain as one of the games that changed the game itself. Just it wasn't available on GameCube.

'GTA V'
1997 in gaming history is a year we should all remember; even as a six year old, I do remember first watching gameplay of (a few years later playing it myself) Grand Theft Auto, the original, released on the first PlayStation console (the big grey one with the wired controllers and the physical memory cards). The aerial views and the small controllable character made the game disappointing for me. I was unable to get past stealing a bus, having to do a really complicated three-point-turn in the midst of traffic and somehow managing to get a nearly unshakable wanted level, or managing to leave said vehicle and shoot some innocent passerby until they retaliated and killed you. Personally, I could not wait for an improvement, if there were to be more games in the series.

Wish You Could Build Your Own Battle Vehicle, Worthy of ‘Fury Road?’
Available on PC and Xbox, Crossout is still in its Beta stage, and yes, still free! Best described as a fast paced post-apocalyptic MMO, little to no story line, but enough action to make you not care.

'Watch_Dogs'
I know I'm relatively slow to play some games that have been out for a few years, but I am rather picky about the types of games I play too, for instance I will mostly chooses stealth or open world GTA type games. I'm a typecast "guy" player, enjoying games with guns, cars, explosions, hand to hand combat, and of course women.

Are You a Sports Gamer?
If you have played NBA 2K18, you noticed some awesome new features! The mechanics alone surprised me—I mean, your steps are no longer an animation. You can literally catch the ball and take one step and shoot. Used to be you would move your analog stick and your player would have an animation moved you a few steps.
