Often times in your game, you might want to have your player in a dark place and add a lighting effect either to the player themselves or to torches on the wall or other objects to give the feeling of being in a dark place and provide the player with some light to see. In this quick tutorial, I will show you how to create a lighting effect in Construct 2, and this should also be able to be applied to Construct 3.

Author's note: Unlike any of my other PUBG articles, this one is definitely one to relish. To start out, it isn't just the action-packed storytelling that will get you hooked. How to Create a Tilemap Spritesheet for Construct 2 & 3
When creating a game in Construct 2, where tiles are being used, such as a platformer, top-down shooter or RPG game, using a tilemap becomes extremely useful and is the best and easiest way to go about it. Placing the tiles this way can become very time intensive.

Toxic Gaming Communities

Everyone in multiplayer games finds anonymous players from around the globe, befriends them, and includes them in a team or a guild. The inclusion rates in video games is rather high, even for solo players, there are benefits for people that simply want to be alone in a video game. Not including mobile gaming, women are interested in console and PC gaming. As a female gamer myself, I do enjoy both PC and console gaming. However, it comes at the expense of sanity.

Best PlayStation 4 Adventure Games to Play
I'm a big fan of the adventure genre. While there's nothing wrong with a good FPS or other combat-oriented game, something about the narrative-heavy adventure genre has stuck with me throughout the years. The genre was popular when I was a kid, then sort of died out for a while; in the early 2010s though, the genre saw a resurgence with the release of Telltale's The Walking Dead series. And now, as an adult, I want to go on some more adventures that still manage to capture my attention. That's where the best PlayStation 4 adventure games come in. While this graphically impressive console has more video games than I know what to do with, the adventure genre can fall into the background behind some of the more popular genres like RPGs. Have no fear, however, I'm here to make sure these great games get the spotlight they deserve.

With the recent announcement from Monolith productions that they are removing micro transactions from their game Shadow of War, a prelude to the famous Lord of the Rings franchise, it made me happy. Too often do gamers see massive corporations use unhealthy tactics to elicit money from their customers. Most infamously through the use of micro transactions, where this caught the eyes of many politicians turning this into an international incident not seen since the days of Mortal Kombat. So from good news, let’s reflect on some of the companies that refuse to do the right thing, and how they alienate their customers.
