Retro Review
The Corona got you locked up without much to entertain you? Then why not indulge in a bit of retro gaming? It's both cheap and entertaining with plenty of online stores still delivering to addresses near you. You'll find some excellent deals in the UK in the form of CEX or if you like you're merchandise new then Amazon is a good shout. Currently one man's 'retro' is another man's 'current gen' but there's plenty of games many 'next gen' gamers have missed out on. The Western genre of gaming is fairly new I think and it's only recently we have had an increase in quality. If you're old enough to remember the point and click 'Desperado's' for PC then you know it was a long time before a Clint Eastwood type character went into 3-D virtual world.

Retro Review
What pains me the most about the 'Next Gen' & 'Current Gen' consoles is their distinct lack of backward compatibility. I won't lie it often infuriates me as it seems like a deliberate ploy so that gamers need to repurchase an old game. More often than not the old game is exclusively available for download so the gamer doesn't even get a box with instructions to get the most out of the game. As a collector this really does annoy me and I'm sure it annoys many other gamers out there too. It forces great consoles like the Playstation 3 to become retro a lot quicker than they need to. Great games like the one I'm reviewing today are then re-packaged much to the expense of the customer and much to the delight of industry juggernauts like Sony and Microsoft.

Five Reasons why the Deus Ex Franchise needs to make a comeback
Sci-fi escapism certainly has its popularity while we’re all self-isolating. Over the last couple of weeks, I played through Deus Ex: Mankind Divided after missing out on it in 2016. After learning how the series was put on ice in 2017 due to disappointing sales, I couldn’t help but feel let-down. Four years on from its release and we haven’t heard much from the once revered franchise. While Deus Ex: The Fall took the crown for the worst of the series, Mankind Divided was a polarising title that boasted excellent design and miserable marketing in equal measure. There’s been no sign of a return to Deus Ex as of 2020, but here are my five reasons why it needs to make a comeback.

I was born in 1983. It was still rare to find someone with a gaming system in their home. My parents had a Kalico Vision & Atari. I spent a lot of time playing Pit Fall as a toddler. This was my first time with electronic games as a form of entertainment. Then my parents bought a Nintendo system. I remember being over the moon about it as far as there being color and such. We had the cartridge that played Mario Bros., Duck Hunt & Olympics(The grandfather to pad style controllers). I played all three of them and loved the slight upgrade of them. It was a huge leap for me as a young kid. My dad wasn't home a lot as he was a fireman at the time, but when he was we would play video games together.
