D&D: Spanning Generations
It started with a inquiry on a bag of dice in a small crown royal bag. Apparently all the cool Dungeons and Dragons ( D&D) gamers carry their dice in those assorted color velour bags with the yellow strings. It sounds very complex nowadays. It is all done virtually at present, due to COVID, and people's schedules but it is a variant of the same game from back in the 1970's. This role playing has a Manifesto, and its players have a real investment in what goes on with their characters. The Dungeon Master (DM) or Game Master (GM) is the one who directs the play of this dragonian and mystical adventure and the players choose and roll their fate. This DM needs to know the rules, the story , the why , when , where, how, a real reporter of adventure. This seems like a good preparation for a management position in the future.

The (Almost) Perfect Remake: SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated
The first video game system I ever bought was the Nintendo GameCube when I was around 5 or 6, and when I bought it, the only games I had were The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition and Super Monkey Ball. I played the latter and enjoyed it, and didn’t play Zelda much because it was too complicated for my kiddy brain to handle. And so, the search began for a new game I could play, and being a fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, I immediately looked to see if there was a game for the GameCube that starred the yellow sponge. Sure enough, I got my hands on SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, and everything changed.

HBCUs and ESports: A Perfect Match?
My name is Herb Seward, and I'm a gamer. Video games have been part of my life since I was blessed enough to get my hands on an Atari 2600 console. I'm also a product of an HBCU (Historically Black College and University). Video games, much like everywhere else, became part of the cultural fabric of this country during the last decade or two. We've seen video games grow from two player games like Pong, to a multi-billion dollar industry where really proficient players are plying their trade at both the collegiate and professional level. E-Sports has become a global phenomenon in a pretty short period of time. Professional teams and players in a variety of gaming genres are front and center in the media eye at an increasing pace. There's also a vibrant and growing collegiate E-Sports scene that's starting to take root here.

3 Things You NEED To Understand If You Want To Grow On Twitch
Twitch is... well it's Twitch. The platform is not streamlined in the way that YouTube is with all their ALgOriTHmS and all that, so it makes it very hard to get discovered solely on the one platform. But in all the time I've spent streaming on Twitch, there are a few things I know now that if I had done differently... well things would have moved much faster.

New Horizons Indeed
The Animal Crossing Franchise has been around for years since the N64 in Japan and GameCube internationally. Each new game seems to be more popular than the last. I got into the game with New Leaf and now New Horizons, it’s follow up. To sum this game in a simple sentence it’s creating your own island for you and 10 animal villagers to live in peace and harmony. The player has great power and with great power comes great responsibility. That great power also corrupts which can turn this innocent looking game into an unexpected horror game. The mind is a powerful thing, you can create a heaven out of hell and a hell out of a heaven. This all really relates to Animal Crossing.

Harry Potter on Playstation
This was one of the games I reviewed on Ciao back in the day to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter series. Whilst I'm still shocked and appauled by the original author's stance on transgendered people. It does hurt that an author of a series that I admired and looked up to turned out to have problematic views.
