T Spawn

T Spawn is a big area without smaller side paths. The Terrorist players start their CS2 round here, but nothing happens in T Spawn because it ends in a dead end.

T Ramp

After leaving T Spawn, Terrorists can turn left to a path that leads to bombsite B. This area is known as T Ramp. From here, players can see Mid and vice versa, which AWPers from both teams use to their advantage. T Ramp also connects to bombsite A through Mid, allowing for different rotations.

Ledge

The Ledge is a spot on T Ramp that is closer to T Spawn. Terrorists can use it to look at Mid or wait for Counter-Terrorists who get too far into Banana.

Banana

Banana is a long pathway that is very important for team strategies on CS2 Inferno. To control this area, both T and CT players often throw fire grenades, while smoke is used to cover their movements.

Logs

Terrorists usually gather in this small hidden area called Logs before they attack via Banana. Counter-Terrorists might check Logs, but it can be risky since it lets them see enemy movements. There are actual logs in this area, which is why it has this name.

Car

In CS2, players use the word Car to refer to their location on Banana just before bombsite B. By jumping on the car, players can trick their opponents into aiming lower, which can give you a better chance in a duel.

Sand Bags

Players can hide behind the sandbags on top of Banana. However, both teams often use Molotovs or Incendiaries to check this area because it’s too close to B to stay for long. Still, it’s an important callout for both attackers and defenders.

Boost

Boost is a key position for players defending bombsite B. Standing on this boosted spot lets you watch the entrance from Banana and see over the smoke.

1st

When attackers come into bombsite B from Banana, they should look out for two hidden spots on the left side. The first one is nearer to Banana, where a defender might be hiding.

2nd

This is the second hiding spot, found between boxes and further back than the first. Attackers need to check this area as well.

Quad

The Quad is a stack of boxes that is good for defending bombsite B. Even if the bomb is planted, players can stay here to keep themselves safe and hide their actions. Counter-Terrorists might want to consider using this spot instead of being more exposed in the first and second hiding areas.

Fountain

Use this callout to point to the fountain located in the center of bombsite B. However, it’s not very useful.

B Site

This refers to the main area where the bomb can be planted.

Dark

There’s a dark corner that can be used to hide and protect bombsite B.

Coffins

Although there are no real coffins in this part of B anymore, Valve added some graffiti of them in CS2. This callout is still used in the new game. This spot is right at the entrance to B from Garden. Defenders can hide there to surprise attackers with a headshot.

Garden

This area is part of an alternative route for Counter-Terrorists coming from CT Spawn through Construction. Terrorists can also use it after planting the bomb at B to wait for attackers.

Construction/Ruins

This building usually isn't a fight location since Counter-Terrorists often just pass through quickly.

Sand Bags

You can find these sandbags inside Construction. Hiding there is not a common choice due to how the pathway from CT Spawn to B works. It’s better to specify if you mean Construction Sand Bags or Ruins Sand Bags to avoid confusion since the same term is used by the entrance from Banana.

Truck

If Counter-Terrorists rush to bombsite B at the start of a round, they should run by the truck near the entrance to Construction without stopping. However, if they rotate to B after the bomb is planted there, they need to be careful around the Truck. Some daring Terrorists might try to catch them off guard from behind.

Tree

This is another hiding spot near Construction. It’s quite far from B for defending before the bomb is planted. But once the bomb starts ticking, both teams can use the Tree to hide or gather before making a move.

CT

This spot is the direct path to bombsite B from CT Spawn. Counter-Terrorists often hide around the corner, waiting for attackers. Terrorists should check this area or use smoke to block the view.

CT Boost

Counter-Terrorists use this elevated spot to keep an eye on any movement coming from the entrance near Banana, even if there's smoke blocking their view.

CT Spawn

Counter-Terrorists begin their rounds in CS2 from this location.

Well

This is located in the middle of a small square. Players pass by it while moving between A and B.

Terrace

Players might occasionally use this area to attack enemies who are running by.

Speedway

This is one of the two routes connecting A and B. This path is a bit shorter but can be riskier, as it exposes players to enemies who might be hiding nearby.

Kitchen

This room offers another route between A and B. The Kitchen is closer to CT Spawn.

Library

This room is a part of the path between A and B and is closer to bombsite A. Defenders should control this entrance to A, while attackers need to be cautious when exiting from the Library.

Arch

This is a curved pathway linking A Long and Speedway.

A Site

This is the area where the bomb gets planted.

Back Site

This is one of the two corners on A Site where players can hide and defend the bombsite.

Close Left

Defenders often wait here for enemies. The attacking team should watch both corners: Close Left and Back Site.

Graveyard

This area is directly across from A Site. Players can hide here and use the wall for cover.

Cemetery

Defending teams should use this spot because it offers a clear view of A and allows players to rotate quickly.

Pit

This area is quite open, making it difficult to hide. It connects Cemetery and Balcony.

Balcony

This is an entrance to bombsite A from CT Apartments. Attackers have a good view of A Site and its surroundings from here, but defenders can also shoot anyone on the Balcony. It's similar to the Balcony on Mirage's A Site.

Truck

Players can jump onto this to reach the Balcony. Defending teams use this to protect the entrance from CT Apartments.

A Short

This is one of the paths around A Site. It's a shorter route that goes from Mid to Balcony.

Patio/Porch

This spot is important for Counter-Terrorists. They can hide here and wait for Terrorists coming from Mid.

Top Mid

This part of Mid is closer to bombsite A. When Terrorists arrive here, they have two options to get around A Site: Long or Short.

A Long

This is the longer way from Mid to A Site, which takes players to Library.

Long Corner

This corner is the opposite of Patio. Counter-Terrorists can stay hidden here to monitor both Top Mid and Library. Terrorists might stop at Long Corner before going to A Site. After planting the bomb, they can defend A from this position.

Bottom Mid

Terrorists get to this section of Mid after T Ramp. They use it as a way to reach A from B if they need to change locations during a round.

Mid

This is a large open area in the center of the map. Terrorists mainly use it for moving around. Sometimes, Counter-Terrorists might take a risk to enter for info or find a different way to B after planting the bomb.

Bench

This term in CS2 Inferno refers to a corner in Mid. It can provide cover while moving to Top Mid.

2nd Mid

This path runs alongside Mid. It’s another option for players going from T Spawn to A. 2nd Mid allows players to choose from different side paths, which is a bit safer.

T Apartments

This room is near T Spawn. It offers a different route to get to Back Alley.

Bridge

The Bridge connects T Apartments with the Living Room.

Living Room

On its own, the Living Room isn't very significant. However, players can reach T Balcony from here, which looks over 2nd Mid.

T Balcony

Terrorists may look to check 2nd Mid's safety from T Balcony before rushing in. However, this isn't generally a common choice because T Balcony is quite a distance from bombsite A.

Underpass

This connects Mid to 2nd Mid. Players can use it for sneaky moves.

2nd Mid Door

This is the entry to 2nd Mid from T Apartments and marks the beginning of Back Alley.

Back Alley

This area gives players another way to access CT Apartments from 2nd Mid.

Stairs

These lead from CT Apartments to Back Alley and 2nd Mid.

CT Apartments

This section is inside the building close to bombsite A. Both teams frequently use it. Terrorists might enter A through CT Apartments, while Counter-Terrorists may set up an ambush there.

Close Apartments/Hall

The apartments are quite spacious, so there’s a special callout for the area closest to A.

Window

This is a spot for looking over 2nd Mid. Usually, Counter-Terrorists peek out from here, but the window is so big that it doesn’t feel completely safe.

Boiler

This area leads out from CT Apartments directly to Top Mid. The A defenders, often Counter-Terrorists, need to keep an eye on this space.

2nd Mid Stairs

These stairs give another way into CT Apartments and are found underneath the Window.
