Ancient civilizations

Ancient Age, one of the oldest periods in the history of humanity, is a period that continued from 3000 BC to 500 AD. During this period, many civilizations emerged. These civilizations include many important cultures such as Egypt, Greece, Rome, China, Indian and Persian civilizations.

Egyptian civilization is an old civilization known for its pyramids, temples and hieroglyphic writings along the Nile. Among the most famous leaders of this civilization are Pharaohs Tutlukhamun, Ramses and Cleopatra.

Greek civilization is known as ancient Greece and is famous for its philosophers, mathematicians and artists. During this period, many important urban states emerged and cities such as Athens, Sparta and Corinth have become important cultural centers.

The Roman civilization is a civilization ruled by the Roman Empire in Italy and extending to Europe, North Africa and West Asia. At the time when the Roman Empire ruled, progress was made in many areas such as architecture, engineering and law.

Wars

There have been many wars throughout history, and these wars have played an important role in human history. It has emerged for different reasons such as wars, land, resources, power and ideologies. Here are some of the most important wars in history:

Trojan War: In 1184 BC, Greece's most famous city states, Sparta and Athens' war to seize Troia.

Persian Wars: The Persian wars between 490 BC and 480 BC are the wars between ancient Greece and the Persian Empire. As a result of these wars, Greece won victory against the Persian Empire.

Napoleon Wars: Napoleon Bonapart launched many wars in Europe when France ruled as an emperor. These wars continued from 1792 to 1815 and stemmed from the national and ideological conflicts that emerged under the influence of the French Revolution. The Napoleon wars caused a significant change of political, social and military structures in Europe.

First World War: The First World War, which took place between 1914-1918, was one of the greatest wars in history. The reason for the war was the political and economic conflicts between various forces in Europe. Approximately 70 million soldiers took part in the war and more than 10 million people lost their lives.

Second World War: The Second World War, which took place between 1939-1945, was one of the most destructive wars in history. The reason for the war is shown as the spread of Nazi Germany in Europe and the expansion of Japan in Asia. Approximately 100 million soldiers took part in the war and about 70 million people were killed.

Art

Art is a tool that people use to exhibit their creativity and imagination. Throughout history, many civilization has used the art of different ways. Here are some important art movements in history:

Renaissance: Renaissance, which began in Italy in the 14th century, is characterized by interest in ancient Greek and Roman cultures. During this period, a great progress was made in fields such as art, mathematics and science. Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Rafael are among the famous artists of Renaissance.

Baroque: Baroque art that emerged in Europe in the 17th century developed under the influence of religious and political forces. Baroque is characterized by large and dramatic scenes, detailed decorations and a narrative style. Among the important artists of this period are Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Rubens.

Romanticism: Romanticism, which emerged between the 18th and 19th centuries, has an emotional and fantastic style. Romantic art, nature, human emotions and imagination. Among the important artists of this period are William Blake, Caspar David Friedrich and Eugene Delacroix.
