10. Joseph Merrick The Elephant Man
Joseph Merrick, who was born in 1862, was five years old when he first experienced a medical condition that caused his limbs to swell to abnormally huge sizes. In 1884, he joined a sideshow attraction where he was well-treated and made a sizable sum of money. He was there when a visiting doctor noticed him and made plans for him to lead a better life. It is now recognised that Joseph Merrick had Proteus Syndrome rather than elephantiasis as was once claimed. At the age of 27, Merrick suffocated to death in his sleep.
9.Juan Baptista dos Santos The Man With Two Penises
According to legend, Jean (or Juan) Baptista dos Santos was a "Gipsey" who was born in Faro, Portugal, in the early 1840s to normal parents and two other normal siblings. He turned down a payment of 200,000 francs to appear for two years with a French circus in 1865, indicating that his career as an exhibitionist was limited to medical circles alone. He had three scrota, the outer two of which each held a single testis, and two functional penises. A pair of completely formed testicles were also present in the middle scrotum, according to Dos Santos, but they had moved back into his abdomen by the time he was ten years old.

Josephine Myrtle Corbin was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee in 1868. She was born a dipygus, meaning that she had two separate pelvises side by side from the waist down. The extra legs were part of a twin that did not split correctly, like Frank Lentini with his third leg. Each of her smaller inner legs was paired with one of her outer legs. She was said to be able to move her inner legs, but they were too weak for walking. She had four daughters and a son.

Gabrielle Fuller, who was born in Basle, Switzerland, in 1884, first joined the circus in 1900 at the Paris Exposition. Her upper torso was flawlessly proportioned and terminated gracefully just below the waist.

3.Wang The Human Unicorn
An overseas Russian banker in 1930 made the discovery of a Chinese farmer from Manchukuo. The Russian was able to capture the man on camera, and he gave Robert Ripley of "Believe It Or Not!" fame the picture. The farmer, who went by the name Wang and was occasionally referred to as Weng, was ordinary in every way except for the fourteen-inch horn that sprouted from the back of his head. Anyone who could produce Wang for an appearance at his Odditorium would receive a big financial reward from Ripley. But in the early 1930s, Wang vanished from view and was never seen or heard from again.

2. Lionel The Lion Faced Boy
In 1890, Stephan Bibrowsky was born to typical parents in Poland. He had hypertrichosis, a rare genetic condition that causes patients to have a thick coat of fur covering their entire bodies. Since the Middle Ages, just around 50 occurrences of the illness have been recorded. In the instance of Lionel, his body was covered in six-inch-long hair. When he was only four years old, a German named Meyer made him famous in his homeland, earning him the moniker Lionel the Lion-Faced Man. He frequently dressed the best clothes to demonstrate that, beneath his hair, he was a literate, likeable person who could speak five languages, far from being displayed as a beast.
1.Ella Harper The Camel Girl
The text from Ella Harper's pitch card is included here. A pitch card was a flyer used to promote sideshow attractions.
"Because my knees slant backward, I'm known as the camel girl. I can move most efficiently on my hands and feet, as you can see in the photo. Since I've been in the entertainment industry for the last four years, I've travelled quite a bit. Now that it's 1886, I plan to leave the industry and pursue a different career by attending school.

In Verona, Italy, I actually witnessed a live instance of this. A woman was begging on the side of the road, but her legs were bent in front of her as opposed to behind her.
