The mystery of Mars' Canals

If there are canals on Mars, there is intelligent life! No evidence could be easier or more convincing.

It was Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli who first pointed out that there were canals on Mars. In 1877, he took advantage of the opportunity of Mars perihelion rendezvous with the Earth, with a 24 cm aperture telescope to observe Mars, found some blurred straight lines on the round surface of Mars, further observation he found that some dark lines as wide as 120 kilometers; It's 4,800 kilometers long and crisscrosses the planet, forming a network that covers the Martian continent. He believes that because the air on the surface of Mars is so thin that there is no water, the polar cap of ice and snow starts to melt in the summer and become water. The purpose of the water channels on Mars is to channel the water from the polar cap to the arid tropics to irrigate the fields there. From the view of these channels, they converge in the middle of the continent, and they are done on purpose.

But Barnard of the United States believed that the dark lines on Mars were neither straight nor irregular and that they were disconnected, and Antoni Adi of Greece supported Barnard's view. Lowell, he said, "belongs to the overimaginative."

The Mariner 9 probe also proved that the so-called Mars canals were bogus, but it unexpectedly found that there are many geological formations on Mars that resemble river beds. According to the analysis, long ago on Mars, there were rivers, there was an atmosphere, and there were differences in climate. Mysterious human faces on Mars

The US Mars rover Viking 1 has not only found river channels on Mars, but also a huge human face structure, known as the "mysterious face". Winsloff observed that these Marians were particularly fond of circular patterns and that their houses, furnishings, tools, and ornaments were mostly circular. They also treasure detailed maps of the solar system and Mars. According to him, the Martians are well-versed in spaceflight, but there is no way they can go back to Mars. What Dr. Possoff announced shocked the astronomical community, but he did not provide any concrete evidence. Dr. Possoff was coy about how he would make contact with the Martians, saying only that it would happen shortly.

The mystery of the Martians is already unfolding. Most scientists believe that there was once low-level life on Mars. But what humans care most about is whether there are other intelligent creatures like themselves.
