How to open a portal and go back in time
When I arrive at a live show, nobody ever knows quite what to make of me. What exactly am I going to do with an old analog projector, pyrex dishes, and food coloring? My sarcastic answer is always that I'm going to open a portal to the past, and even though I'm joking, there is a tinge of truth in that answer! I'm a liquid light show artist, meaning I use basic chemistry to mix colorful water and oil and project the image onto a wall behind a live music act. The craft is not often something many people have ever heard of, but it used to be one of the most important parts of live music in the 60's and 70's.

The Most Popular Oxymoron I've Seen: Punisher and Blue Lives Matter
Frank Castle aka ‘The Punisher’ is my favorite Anti-Hero ever, I love the idea of an anti hero and most of my favorite comic and movie characters are Anti-Heros. The most comic books I’ve read are punisher comics and his live action appearance on The netflix shows ‘Daredevil’ and ‘The Punisher’ are some of my favorite shows. So when I see the now commonplace logo of his signature skull colored in blue lives matter flag style I immediately know that the person using that is an idiot. Yes I understand the skull looks cool but these two things crossing is just as stupid as Black Panther having the KKK cross on his chest.

Harold P. Warren had no experience making films. He was a salesman of fertilizer and insurance, and he’d never so much as created an outline for a film script before. He’d written some books and plays, but he’d never attempted to shoot a feature film. His friend, Stirling Silliphant, however, had actual script-writing experience. He has writing or co-writing credits on dozens of films, including The Poseidon Adventure, The Towering Inferno, and In The Heat of the Night. In fact, In The Heat of the Night won him the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. He also worked on various TV programs, including the hit show Route 66, where he met Warren as he was scouting locations for an episode.

We've all been treated to some of the biggest names in entertainment history in the form of television series we fell absolutely in love with. One of those series, for myself at least, was The Big Bang Theory. My second biggest television addiction, until it ended after its tenth season, was, of course, Friends. Let's face the facts, the networks found a formula that works. There's no denying that the twenties to mid-thirties formula of five to six young and attractive people who are tight and have chemistry with one another works. It's been working now since the middle of the 1990s.

There's a new word on the block, and it's time we all learned it...because this one's kind of fun. Cheugy. See? It even sounds cute...which, given its meaning, is surprisingly self-aware. The word cheugy is in on its own joke. Unlike its cousins "basic", and "Karen", it conveys as much affection as it does judgement.
