Soldiering is Brutal
When warriors fight, humanity bleeds.

Soldiering is not just a profession, it is a sacrifice, a commitment to serve and protect, often at the cost of one's life. I had tears in my eyes after seeing this one clip of intense hand-to-hand combat between a soldier from Yakutia, Siberia, and a Ukrainian soldier. It wasn't just the brutality of the fight that struck me but the humanity in their final moments. The Russian soldier managed to survive the encounter, but what stayed with me were the last words exchanged between these two warriors.
In their final moments, the conversation between the two combatants was heart-wrenching.
Ukrainian Soldier: That's it, Mum Goodbye.
Wait, let me die in Peace.
You ripped me open fully.
Let me catch my breathe a little. It hurts a lot.
Let me go quietly.
Russian (Siberian) Soldier: You fought great.
Ukrainian Soldier: Let me leave (the earth) in peace.
Don't touch me, I am done.
Let me Die. Man, don't try, let me die.
Go away, please. I want to go alone.
Thank You.
Russian (Siberian) Soldier: You were the best fighter in this world.
Here were two men, fighting not for themselves but for the greed and agendas of a few selfish individuals sitting comfortably in power. Yet, even in the chaos of war and being locked in a life-or-death struggle, there was mutual respect in their words. It was a raw, honest moment that showed the futility of war and the shared pain of those forced to fight it.
The Harsh Truth
Soldiering is brutal. I was privileged and honored to be part of this ecosystem, and my heart goes out to every soldier out there, no matter the country. Soldiers are capable, skilled, and could have done anything in life. Yet, they chose to serve, to protect their nations, knowing the risks.
In an ideal world, we'd solve problems through dialogue and diplomacy, with mutual respect. But we don't live in an ideal world. Greed, hatred, and selfishness dominate. Politicians, with their hidden agendas and hollow manifestos, have forgotten human values. They sit in their offices and declare wars, while selfless soldiers follow orders without question.
And for what? A family loses a son, a husband, a wife, a daughter. It could be anyone. But why should they die? If politicians had even a shred of humanity, they would value lives over power. But this isn't an ideal world.
We have forgotten to be human. Wars are fought over the grudges of a few old men, while young men die for their egos.
How many good lives have been wasted because of a few cowardly, selfish people? Let the gates of hell welcome them.
Nothing good ever comes out of war. Humanity has been repeating the same mistakes for centuries. And the cycle will continue until none of us are left.
The only winners of war are politicians and defense companies. Soldiers and their families are left with the burden, unspeakable atrocities, despair, and scars that never heal.
I truly hope all ongoing wars come to an end. Millions are dying, and countless families wait for their loved ones, their sons, daughters, wives, husbands... to return from battle, only to face heartbreak in the end.
Let us end wars. This is from my heart. We need to stop. We need to be better.
