The New York rapper, producer and entrepreneur has launched his nonprofit PowerToTransparency who aims to reduce violence in communities, reform incarceration and systems. The announcement was made on Cozart’s social media account via Instagram

Cosa Cozart recently announcing the launch of his non-profit to his Instagram account in August, he stated “I proudly present PowerToTransparency non-profit that aims to reduce violence in communities, reform incarceration and systems. #reform #nonprofit #endviolence”

Their latest initiative focuses on empowering Black voters and increasing electoral participation by spreading awareness about the importance of voting in elections where Black candidates are on the ballot. The organization’s mission is to ensure that Black voters are educated about their voting rights, recognized as active members of a voting district or party, and motivated to make their voices heard.
