Nagrak is a bungalow in the Nanperial Estate. This estate is located close to the Belihul Oya.. To be precise. This is the tea estate that we can see from the bottom to the top.

In fact, this estate is so big that it is like the end of the world from the bottom to the top.

After a few kilometers past the Belihul Oya on the Colombo-Badulla Road, you will find the road leading to the Nanperial Estate. After taking 33 difficult bends and going 22 kilometers up the mountain, you can reach this beautiful estate bungalow. From this junction, you have to climb the slope that looks like the end of the world. Can you imagine how you have to climb a mountain?

This is where you turn to go to the Negrak Bungalow.. You have to go to the left side… Negrak is a division of Nonperil Estate, where the bungalow is located..And if you go south from this junction or Upper Division, you can go down to the end of the world.

Another beautiful place you will come across on the way is Baker's Bend. This place is more than 5000 feet above sea level. The southern part of Sri Lanka with the Payne Samanala Lake below is a very beautiful view here. When you look from here, the Negrak Bungalow looks beautiful. Actually, even this trip has a little adventure.

There are 5 rooms in this bungalow. 10 people can stay directly.

When you step out of the bungalow, it is difficult to describe the surroundings in words, it is so beautiful. The garden of the bungalow is beautifully planted with flowers. On one side, there is a viewing platform to look down the mountain and a small hut has been built near the slope. For those who like to be outdoors, another place has been prepared. This is a great place to spend a relaxing holiday with friends, office people, relatives, and family. There are only two people in the bungalow, the caretaker and the cook. You have to go and get the things you need to cook. Then you can go and get the things you need for this cook.

Another thing to know is that mobile phones do not work here. Only Lankabell works, nothing else. So this is a good place to get away from the annoying phone calls all day long.

If you go here, you should go in advance. Because if you do not book in advance, you will get into trouble. However, you should check the weather before going here. Because if there is rain and wind, it is not very good to go this way.

The bungalow, though, has a few quirks. Mobile signals are scarce Lankabell works, so it's a good chance to unplug for real. There's only a caretaker and cook on staff, and you're in charge of sourcing the ingredients to prepare your own meals, which adds to the appeal of this self-sufficient escape.
