These legendary people are often known for only one feat, which got them a place in the history books. The legend in the spotlight today is the famous explorer Erik the Red. Most know him for creating the first settlement in Greenland (no, he did not discover Greenland). He managed some truly remarkable feats on his journey, which we will be exploring in chronological order today.

How To Be Interviewed
I used to interview a lot of people. It was sort of my job. Well, if I’m honest, my job as a working journalist was to get from a particular point A to a particular point B. Point A involved me frantically flailing around as I hunted for ideas to pitch to various publications. Point B was taking those ideas and making something that didn’t suck. But interviewing was the road between A and B. As a working journalist, I couldn’t write my stories without interviews.

There's An Over Mile Wide Asteroid Visiting Before Memorial Day Weekend
Since the mid-90s, the subject of asteroids impacting the earth has been on the minds of space scientists around the globe. There were the findings of the 1997 Xf-11 and how it was projected to strike the Atlantic Ocean in 30 years. The incident in Russia destroyed 3,000 windows, and injured people, lighting up the skies in a blinding flash of light. There’ve even been movies that prayed on the curiosity and fear of our mortality in the case of another extinction-level event involving an asteroid. 2022 has been abuzz with asteroid activity and shows no sign of slowing down or sign that the gravity of the events is getting less threatening.

Alphabets have a distinctive imprint in the history of writing
We usually say that the alphabet is the backbone of a language, and that's absolutely true! The alphabet consists of various signs that make it possible to transcribe all the sounds of a language in order to deconstruct them, no matter how complex. The alphabet, then, is the literal translation of each sound that contributes to the formation of a particular word or phrase, whether it has a meaning or not.

Today's Lesson is the Hanoverian Kings
Good morning, today we will be looking at the Kings who ruled during the Georgian Era. There were 5 Kings = 4 x Georges and 1x William. Covering the years from 1714 to 1830, these Kings are called the Hanoverian Kings. During their reigns, England was at peace for only 12 years and 8 months. Also, Enlgand’s ‘landscape’ started to change with regards to the arts, religion, social reform and politics.
