In cases of suspension, Freelancer.com should either allow freelancers to access their balance or place funds in escrow until the issue is resolved.

Offer a Transparent and Fair Appeals Process: A clear appeals process would allow freelancers to challenge suspensions and provide explanations for their actions, fostering trust in the platform’s commitment to fairness and due process.

Improve Customer Support Communication: Customer support should be prepared to offer personalized and detailed responses in cases involving account suspensions and withheld funds. A template response does little to address users’ concerns and only adds to the frustration.
