Exciting Career Opportunities at STCBL: Your Pathway to a Stable and Rewarding Future
A Variety of Roles Across Departments

In a time when job security and professional growth are more important than ever, the State Trading Corporation of Bhutan Limited (STCBL) has opened its doors to motivated Bhutanese individuals looking to build lasting careers. As Bhutan’s leading trading and service corporation, STCBL continues its tradition of excellence by announcing multiple vacancies across various technical and administrative fields for immediate recruitment in 2025.
If you’ve been searching for an opportunity to apply your skills, expand your experience, and work for a respected organization, this is your chance.
STCBL has always been at the forefront of providing top-quality services across the country. This year, they are offering opportunities for individuals with different academic backgrounds and skill sets. Six different roles are open, each with promising prospects.
For those with a background in sales, STCBL is recruiting two Sales Executives IV (Auto Spare Parts). Candidates must have completed Class XII and while freshers are welcome, preference will be given to applicants with experience in sales and marketing of auto spare parts. The successful candidates will be placed either at the Eicher Spare Parts Division at the Head Office in Thimphu or the Regional Office in Phuentsholing.
Technical professionals are also in high demand. If you have completed Class X along with a VTI/TTI certification in Auto Electrical, you can apply for the Junior Technician I (Auto Electrical) position based at the Toyota Division’s Eicher Service Center in Phuentsholing. Similarly, there’s an opening for a Junior Technician I (Auto Painter) at the Toyota Service Center in Thimphu, ideal for those who specialize in auto body painting.
For applicants with basic education but a strong work ethic, there are several positions as well. STCBL is hiring a Fuel Pump Operator for their Petroleum Division at Damphu FRO in Tsirang. Candidates need to have passed Class VIII, and fresh graduates are welcome.
In the transportation sector, two slots are available for Drivers (Tanker Truck). Applicants must have passed Class VIII and possess a valid heavy vehicle driving license with at least three years of relevant experience. These positions are based at the Petroleum Division’s Doksum Fuel Retail Outlet in Trashiyangtse.
Lastly, there’s a vacancy for a Helper at the Apollo Unit under the Eicher Division in Thimphu. Class VIII pass is the minimum qualification, and those with workshop or tyre shop experience will be given preference.
Competitive Pay and Attractive Benefits
At STCBL, employee welfare has always been a priority. Each position comes with a structured pay scale, additional corporate allowances, and fixed allowances — all calculated to make the total compensation highly competitive within Bhutan’s job market.
For instance, Sales Executives can expect a starting basic salary of Nu. 13,375, along with an additional 20% Corporate Allowance and a 60% Fixed Allowance on the basic pay. Technical roles like Junior Technicians start with a basic salary of Nu. 14,715 with the same allowance structure. Even entry-level roles like Fuel Pump Operators and Helpers are offered structured salary packages and full employee benefits in line with the STCBL Service Rules and Regulations (SRR) 2018.
In addition to the attractive salaries, employees enjoy medical benefits, retirement plans, and opportunities for skill enhancement through various internal training programs.
