There is so much power in the words, Don’t Stop Believing!

Richard Goodall never stopped believing! At the age of 55 he set the stage alight on America’s Got Talent. He proved that it is never too late. It is never too late to follow your heart! It is never too late to follow your dreams!

That one performance had so many life lessons. Never judge a book by its cover. A very important life lesson indeed! When Richard walked onto stage, no one ever expected that magical voice to come out of this gentleman.

Richard Goodall did not do any elaborate dance moves or crack any jokes on stage. He just used his voice filled with immerse emotion to bring tears to so many in the audience. Jaws dropped from the very first opening line of the song.

Richard was the perfect person to deliver this song. I have heard many renditions of this song. This is one of my favorite go to songs when I needed and need some motivation.

Richard is a prime example of a person who had setbacks in his life but never gave up. Most people would have but Richard did not. Richard Goodall first tried out for America’s Got Talent in 2009, but never made it past the open auditions.

He was also rejected from another popular reality music show called The Voice. However, he kept pushing forward. Pushing forward got Richard to feature on America’s Got Talent on 28th May 2024.

Even original front man singer of Journey, Steve Perry heard Richard Goodall sing and he simply loved it. Just imagine getting a stamp of approval from Steve Perry. Wow! Wow! Wow!

Richard Goodall is an example of no matter where you are in your life, if you have a dream, put everything into it to make that dream a reality. Setbacks are all a part of the journey. Setbacks teach you valuable lessons.

Learn those lessons and keep going. Never ever allow another person who does not know your story to take you off path from your victory. You need to be insanely brave and always keep your head held high.

No matter where you are in your life right now — if you are in a bad space, if you seem to be off track with you goals, if you have been let down by the love of your life, if you have no money in you bank account, what ever negative situation you are in, always remember as long as your heart is still beating, you are indeed blessed. You have the luxury of pushing forward and believing as well as working towards shaping the life you truly want and deserve.

As I sign off, I leave you below with the short clip from America’s Got Talent. I have watched this many times already. This video will make many people cry. It certainly made me cry.

I wish Richard Goodall the best of luck with his time on America’s Got Talent. I also wish him everything of the very best with his future singing career.

To all my American friends and readers, please support Richard when it comes to the time of voting. He thoroughly deserves this!

My hope and prayer is that we see more talented people like Richard make their presence known. The world needs it!
