African girl comes to Vietnam for the first time
Surprisingly, Vietnam is friendly and does not discriminate against skin color

The African girl made the whole world goosebumps when she reported the most horrific things in Vietnam, surprising the netizens.
Here I watched a video of an African girl named Zozy, a famous YouTuber with 83.5 thousand subscribers.
In her first visit to Vietnam, she shared a video with the title, the horrific experience of a black girl in Vietnam.
Zozy shared what made the whole world goosebumps.
Zozy shared, I am a black girl from Africa.
I have been to many countries in the world, but this is the first time I set foot in Vietnam.
The experiences here really surprised and touched me.
The first stop on my journey is Dong Xuan Market in Hanoi, a famous place with a variety of goods.
The market has a wide range of products, from clothes to daily necessities.
And the price is very affordable, suitable for all levels.I can't believe that no matter what skin color I wear, I don't have any discrimination or discrimination.
On the contrary, Vietnamese people are really friendly and close-knit.
One of my most memorable impressions was at a sportswear store, where I met a Vietnamese sister.
When she saw me, she did not hesitate to express her love by touching my hair. What I understand is that it comes from curiosity and curiosity, not from an arrogant or boastful attitude.
She also expressed her interest in my skin, compared it to her skin and even wanted to take pictures with me. Those actions really touched me. I can't believe that Vietnamese people love and respect foreigners like that.
This is completely contrary to what Western media often describes.
In fact, I myself have been to the United States, a country that is always proud of freedom and democracy.
But there, I had to face despicable people, who looked down on me just because I was black and came from Africa.
In the United States, racial discrimination and discrimination against Asians is also a very serious problem, which makes me feel unsafe and isolated.
However, when I came to Vietnam, I felt completely the opposite.
Here, I feel welcomed, safe and truly free.
The friendliness and openness of Vietnamese people helped me erase my initial concerns.
They not only welcomed me, but also showed respect for the cultural and appearance difference.I really appreciate these experiences, because they have given me a new perspective on people and the country of Vietnam.
As I was exploring Hanoi, it suddenly rained heavily, and I realized that I needed to buy a raincoat to continue my journey.
In my heart, I was a little worried because I didn't know Vietnamese, but what really touched me was the friendliness and willingness to help the people here. Even though we can't communicate in English, they are still willing to use their phones and Google Translate to help me.
They are not only friendly, but also funny, making me feel close to a foreign country.
What's more surprising is that the price here is extremely reasonable.
When I heard the price of the raincoat, I was surprised not only because it was cheap, but also because of the transparency, there was no better use or higher price for foreign tourists like I had seen elsewhere in the world.
Such small moments made me feel the sincerity, openness and kindness of Vietnamese people, something I had never experienced in any other country.
On the way back, I had time to observe and realize that Vietnam was not as poor as I had heard.
The high-rise buildings were lined up next to each other, the streets were full of green trees, full of life.
The scenery was completely different from the images I had imagined through the stories or descriptions from Western media. In the US, I have heard many times that Vietnam is a poor, backward and unfriendly communist country.
Especially, Vietnamese people living in the US may have a bad feeling about the war in the past,or the difference in ideology, which often has a negative image of this country.
However, in fact, I see it completely different here.
Vietnam is a country that is developing strongly, full of energy and innovation. Vietnamese people are not only funny, but also very hospitable.
They are always willing to support and respect foreign tourists, regardless of language barriers or cultural differences.
These friendly interactions make me feel safe and welcome more than ever.
Looking back, I feel really lucky to have the opportunity to discover a wonderful country like Vietnam.
What I experienced here not only changed my perspective, but also brought me a valuable lesson about unity and kindness, which is sometimes missing in self-reliant countries is modernity and freedom. Zozy also shared more about an interesting culinary experience when she visited a traditional Pho restaurant in Hanoi.
She said that as soon as she entered the restaurant, the characteristic aroma of the broth immediately aroused her appetite.
She chose a small, simple but clean table and waited for her first bowl of Pho in Vietnam.
When the hot bowl of Pho was served, she was not impressed by the exquisite presentation of the food.
The soft white noodles, the thin noodles blended with the rich broth in the broth, the aroma of scallions, ginger and traditional spices.
On the surface, the reddish beef slices,just-cooked, mixed with the greenish color of scallions and herbs, create a vivid picture.
Zozy said that when she first put the meat on her mouth, she not only felt the wonderful balance between the natural sweetness of the bone, the elegance of the herbs, but also the soul and love of Vietnamese people for this traditional dish.
What surprised her even more was the price.
Such a delicious bowl of Pho has a very cheap price,to the extent that she had to say that Vietnam is worthy of being called the heaven of cuisine. She also commented that the special thing about Pho is not only the flavor, but also the cultural connection.Pho is not just a dish, but a symbol of Vietnam, which contains the history, creativity and generosity of the people.
Zozy emphasized that this is not just a meal, but also a meaningful experience that she will carry with her on her journey.
