10 Types Of Guys - Who’s Your Type?
There are guys who seem to attract girls like magnets, and there are those who just can’t keep a girl around. Nonetheless, every relationship has something to offer. And dating different types of guys will allow you to find out your likes and dislikes. At the end of the day, it all comes down to what you want from a relationship! So… who’s YOUR type? Let’s find out if he’s Mr. Right or Mr. Right now!
Number 1 - The Big Shot This is the type of guy who’s got it all: looks, money, social life, and a sense of humor. He dresses nicely, smells good, and is incredibly charming. He really cares about his appearance, and by doing so, unconsciously you will too. Odds are, he’s tidy and organized. He’s popular with girls, and has a limited number of male friends. He knows exactly what he's doing and the effect it's having on you (and every other girl around him). Dinners will be five-star and the conversations will be witty. However, the chances of this type of guy slipping out of his fancy clothes and into a comfy relationship are low. Remember, other girls would like to have a guy like this as well, so you’ll have to take really good care of him in order to keep him around.
Number 2 - The Player This guy is charming and romantic. He says exactly what you want to hear, and makes you feel like you're more attractive than any other girl in the world. Of course, that makes him compelling, because what girl doesn't want to hear those things? The problem is that he doesn't really desire a relationship, he merely wants the chase to flatter his own self-worth. Once he lands his conquest, he isn't sure what to do after that. He's scared by the thought of long-term relationships and is not marriage material. Some girls will fall for this, and others will see right through him.
Number 3 - The Nerd This is the kind of guy that sweeps you off your feet using his brain. While he wears a suit to work and looks sharp at the office, in his personal life, he is casual and laid back. He’s loyal and he’ll take good care of you. His friends will enjoy spending time with you, and your parents might be relieved that you’ve found someone with a bright future who can pay that 30-year-mortgage. Rather than engaging in more social or popular activities, this type of guy passionately pursues intellectual activities, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests. For this reason, your friends might degrade your attractiveness level for going out with him, because they think that he doesn’t know how to have fun.
Number 4 - The Bad Boy This is the attractive and ‘live for the moment’ type of guy. He is adventurous, dangerous, and wild. He loves to go out and have fun. He likes a challenge, but he can’t tolerate failure. He has a lot of followers and he’s usually charming and a sweet-talker. Your friends will envy you, and his friends will love to hang out with you. You will have tons of fun, and you’ll probably say yes to every crazy spontaneous idea that he has. But, all he ever wants to do is have fun, and you won’t know how to talk to him about your problems, because he just never listens. He gets irritated and bored easily, and he is not likely to settle down. At least, not in the short term.
Number 5 - The Nice Guy This guy will do everything for you: from opening doors, to giving you rides everywhere, to cooking you dinner, and feeding your cats. He’s nice and gentle, and he’ll always treat you kindly. He’ll do everything you want, and he’ll make you feel like a Queen. On the flip side, he’s rather indecisive, and definitely doesn’t know how to steer the wheel in your relationship. He lacks initiative, and he might not able to make major decisions. It’s hard for him to go to the next level.
Number 6 - The Leader This guy is hardworking, ambitious, and most likely successful. Whatever he wants to get done, will be done. He is very manly; his hobbies are usually cars and sports. He will lead the relationship, and will be able to take care of you as the head of the family. This kind of guy can be very nice and gentle, but he’s easily annoyed by little things and can get quite temperamental. He’s stubborn, and it’s quite hard for him to adjust his values or to take others’ opinions. He will not make you his number one, but he will prioritize you, along with all of his other priorities. He is not the sacrificing type, and at times, he has issues with humility as well. He is too serious, and he finds it hard to show his feelings sometimes.
Number 7 - The Romantic This type of guy is usually creative, and he has a million ways to sweep a girl off her feet. He knows how to play the guitar, he knows how to sing love songs, he knows where to buy flowers, and he remembers to do all three on Valentine’s Day! He is handsome, charming, and his smile makes you melt. Life will be full of surprises and romantic getaways, complete with daily utterances of “I Love You” in every way possible. This affectionate guy will show you a softer side of our male counterparts, all the while raising your expectations of how you wish to be treated. However, he’ll be giving you too much attention, and soon you’ll be craving the attention of other guys. And once he does less than the usual, you’ll feel like something’s wrong, that he doesn’t love you as much as before.
Number 8 - The Possessive This guy will ask what you ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He’ll want to know exactly what you did yesterday, what you are doing today, and tomorrow. He knows your favorite food, your favorite dinner places, and he will chaperone you to and from anywhere. He will take good care of you, and will pay extra attention to details, even the slightest ones. He is a good listener, and knows things even before you say them. But sometimes, he will do all that at the expense of your freedom. While he’ll be a good towards your friends, you will not be allowed to go out with male friends, or have any contact with them. He’ll get irritated easily, and will be constantly insecure about your relationship.
Number 9 - The Know-It-All This guy literally knows it all. Well, at least he thinks he does… He knows the latest gossip and breaking news, he knows what to comment on certain things, and he will always have an opinion about everything. His knowledge is quite broad, and he can wow you by giving intellectual comments. At first, you’ll be amazed by his remarks, and see him as someone who has strong opinions. But, this type of guy just can’t seem to ever shut his mouth, and he’s not a good listener! Most of the time, his comments are self-centered and annoying. He wants to be seen as someone who is cool and able to do everything, but more often than not, he just ends up making a fool of himself. He is stubborn and biased to his own set of values (and your friends might actually hate him).
Number 10 - The Keeper This guy is any combination of all possible types of guys. He is decent, attractive, funny, loyal and committed. He’s everything you want in a guy, and he supports you. This is the guy you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with! Your friends secretly envy you, your parents are happy for you, and his friends like you. Of course, he makes mistakes, but he has the courage to admit it. And you won’t be able to stay mad at him for long, because he has a truly genuine way of apologizing to you.
He is a keeper, and everyone tells you so. Ladies, let us know, who’s your type? Which of these guys do you usually fall for?
