THE PRESIDENT OF EARTH

(Inspired by America 2020)

The year is 2040 in the Unified States of Drodian. The bipartisan political struggle continued until a new political party overwhelmingly took over the country, leaving the traditional party’s helpless. The political party known as,"Earth” swept the country by storm. The party’s policies were exactly what the country needed and desired for many years prior. This party was ran by Vice President Jack Jackson, and President Jon Brosco; the first multi-racial president to re-circulate the $10,000 bill as well as allying with Congress to sign and implement the Leap Tax Act. This exponentially stimulated the economy to remarkable all time highs. The Government covered all federal and state taxes, thus relieving all employed citizens from paying taxes every other fiscal year. Summing up to be one year of citizens paying the traditional taxes, followed by one year of paying zero taxes. This continued pattern and policy allowed Drodian citizens to fully get ahead in life, establish generational wealth and happiness. So much that it brought out the true greatness in the country Drodian. It inspired immigrants to legally become citizens, allowed the creation of numerous millionaires, homelessness was eliminated, crime was non-existent, and racism had fallen due to the playing field being equalized in many aspects. No other country had the gall to empower their citizens the way President Brosco did which truly made Drodian the most dominant and financially superior country on Earth. With the approach of another Presidential Election President Brosco and his administration delivered historical notebooks to all tax paying citizens. The notebook manufacturer by the name of Moleskines exploded the stock market over night when the government purchased 500 billion notebooks for Drodian citizens to document the impact of Leap Taxes on their lives. Shareholders purchased Moleskines stock for a penny a share. After the governmental transaction the stock soared to $1000 a share and rising, thus making an abundance of Moleskines shareholders very wealthy. The journaling provided the administration with the most eye opening insight and gratefulness for the most revolutionary tax policy the country had ever experienced. Word had gotten wind through the Milky Way in which Extraterrestrial beings felt the human race on Drodian had finally evolved to the point of being worthy of legitimate communication. President Brosco received a classified email from the President of Mars. The laws within the galaxy restrict communication between humans and extraterrestrial life forms unless there is one standing leader of the planet. The President of Mars contacted President Brosco privately thru FaceTime to provide a forewarning for Drodian to build defenses against possible nuclear attacks due to be the most powerful country l the world. The mild mannered President respectfully thanked the President of Mars, but declined as he felt no need for violence. The president of Mars advised that he would be sending a masked Dark Web link to a nuclear arms merchant. President Brosco politely declined the heed for protection and anxiously ends the call to avoid galaxy prosecution. President Brosco informs Vice President Jackson of what just occurred, thus resulting in scheduling face to face meetings with all foreign leadership with the goal of re-establishing respect and diplomacy. The President and Vice President immediately set forth on their peace mission.

BLAZEYA: President Kim

The first stop was The massive, yet highly dangerous country of Blazeya. Population of 10 billion, 5 billion are sworn officers armed with samurai swords which allows them to be Judge, Jury, and executioner at any given moment. Foreigners are advised to stay away as the unspoken laws tend to unknowingly get broken by tourists and they end up never returning home, on account of them being executed publicly on the spot for violating the laws of the country. President Brosco arrives at the Imperial Building to meet the President of Blazeya. The exchange of respect very much comforts President Brosco. Their confidential meeting resulted in a mutual respect, and peace of mind. President Brosco opens a Dandelion colored Moleskines notebook, writes the word, “Learning”, and hands it to President Kim. In return the Blazeyan President whispers in his secretary’s ear resulting in his secretary leaving the room and returning to gift President Brosco with a samurai sword, decorated in the color dandelion as well. President Brosco respectfully bows and makes his exit, immediately getting on his private jet plane to meet with the President of Brushim.

BRUSHIM: President Schtoli

Upon arriving in Brushim, The Drodian executives were not aware, let alone prepared for all of the Snow they would have to endure. More concerning is that the wild population of White Tigers randomly roaming the streets with no humans in site. They arrive at the Brushim Government building and are escorted to the Brushim President Schtoli by guards walking fully grown tigers. The meeting with the President Schtoli revealed the country being on a mandatory lockdown due to a mutated volatile virus, hence the reason the government has a dangerous population of tigers patrolling the streets, violently attacking any civilian that do not stay indoors during the lockdown. Without reluctance, President Brosco addresses the rumor of being threatened with a nuclear attack. The Brushim President nervously denies the allegation saying,"where did you hear such an unthinkable rumor?” President Brosco regretfully mentions the President of Mars. The Brushim President unknowingly disclosed a disposition hinting truth of the allegation. President Schtoli laughs it off, and like a typical politician he circumvented the issue with envy and admiration. ,"I recognize that your country is extremely wealthy and rich with dollar currency and galactic jewels. It would be foolish for anyone to attack Drodian.” Says the Brushim President. President Brosco respectfully smiles with relief showing praying hands of gratitude. President Schtoli inquires if there was anything Brushim can do for Drodian. ,"no sir” says President Brosco. ,"Is there anything Drodian can do for Brushim?”. Without hesitation the Brushim President immediately asks for jewels. Being that galactic jewels are the most valuable and universal currency amongst all galactic lifeforms. President Brosco opens his briefcase and pulls out a Red Moleskines notebook. He writes the word Excellence, and says,"I will have our treasury get in contact with you once we return to Drodian.” The Brushim President thanks him desperately in an appeasing manner. "You’re welcome” he says. As he proceeds to leave, the tiger aggressively tries to attack President Brosco, but is immediately subdued by its handler holding the chain leash. ,"My apologies Sir Brosco”. Slightly startled he says,"No worries we’ll be in touch.” President Brosco makes it safely to his jet plane and heads for the country Rikka

KINGDOM: King Martyn

President Brosco takes a detour to the ally country of Kingdom before visiting Rikka. As they fly to Kingdom, President Brosco is confronted by Vice President Jackson with the issue of not being included in the diplomatic meetings. President Brosco assures him that meeting the country leaders alone symbolizes humbleness and the absence of any threat. The VP turns around and dismisses himself in bitter agreement. As he’s walking away President Brosco reassuringly says,"I hope you will stand by my side when we land in Kingdom.” The VP turns around to gives Brosco full eye contact followed by a shrug of discontent. As they are landing in the Royal lands of Kingdom, President Brosco is seen organizing the content in his brief case reminiscing about the warning from the President of Mars. Thru the intercom The pilot says,"welcome to Kingdom, we depart from this country in 2 hours due to the curfew. The virus is far more prevalent here than any other country; be careful.” The President prepares to exit the jet plane, but Jackson doesn’t move a muscle,"I need you to be by my side for this one Jackson.” Jackson says nothing as he retires to his chambers. In disappointment President Brosco makes his way to Kingdom’s Palace alone. He is greeted by King Martyn, the ruler of Kingdom. President Brosco and Martyn have grown to become strong allies. King Martyn excuses his Kings Guards and asks for President Brosco to walk with him,"your palace is amazing” says President Brosco. King Martyn smiles and without hesitation he enlightens President Brosco about the imminent danger Drodian and surrounding countries are in. The President of Mars’ message turned out to be valid. Brushim and Blazeya have combined forces to overtake the country of Drodian. King Martyn states how he secretly sold Kingdom to the country of Rikka in exchange for galactic jewels to evacuate before the nuclear attacks. Extremely taken aback, President Brosco questions King Martyn as to why Rikka would want to buy the country of Kingdom. King Martyn replies saying,"when they take over your country, Kingdom will be next as we are strong allies. I’d advise you make a deal with the President of Rikka as well.” President Brosco’s face went sour as his thoughts wondered. He reached into his suitcase and gave King Martyn two of the remaining Moleskine notebooks; One in red and one in green. He wrote the word,"Care” in one, and the word,"passion” in the other. King Martyn accepted them as if its value was worth one million dollars. King Martyn pauses and says,"no you keep these and give them to the King of Rikka. You will need all of the bartering chips you can give. Either you will trade for galactic jewels, or you will trade for nuclear defenses.” In dismay, President Brosco informed King Martyn that it would take at least two years to build defenses. President Brosco inquisitively asks,"what if the President of Rikka is a part of this destructive take over as well?” King Martyn tells President Brosco that there is no way to tell. President Brosco salutes King Martyn bidding him a farewell. "What is your plan?” says King Martyn. President Brosco replies,"I must meet the President of Rikka to confirm peace.” King Martyn salutes President Brosco as he walks away. With the hopes of influencing a Drodian Evacuation, King Martyn projects his voice telling President Brosco,"I’ll see you and your people on Mars.” President Brosco waves and returns to the jet plane. He makes his way to the Vice Presidents chambers to inform him of the troubling news. President Brosco knocks on the Vice Presidents door. Jackson yells through the door,"How can I help you president?" President Brosco replies,"the rumors are true.” Jackson quickly opens the door in disbelief" What are we to do?” says Jackson. President Brosco calmly tells Jackson that they are en route to meet with the President of Rikka right now,"Will you stand by me this time?” The Vice President salutes President Brosco without breaking eye contact,"you can count on me President.” The pilot informs him that the ETA to the country of Rikka will be a days journey. Vice President Jackson advises for President Brosco to get a good nights rest as this is their final and most important destination on this diplomatic journey. President Brosco agrees and they both retire to their chambers to get some shut eye.

RIKKA: President Hakeem

A bell rings notifying the aircraft passenger’s of the approaching destination. "We're entering the country of Rikka. Please fasten your seat belts for landing. Expect temperature of 112 degrees Fahrenheit.” Vice President Jackson advises for President Brosco to dress light as individuals not native to the country have been known to suffer from instant heat strokes. President Brosco has always admired Vice President Jackson’s vast universal knowledge. President Brosco touches the window and burns his hand due to the climate being of an excess temperature. Jackson gives President Brosco the I told you so look. The jet plane lands and a gust of brutally hot air fills the cabin as the door opens. They are immediately greeted by Hakeem the President of Rikka, in which his 10 concubines respectively performed a cultural dance routine as they do for all visiting foreign leaders. President Brosco applauds once the routine is complete. The Rikka President embraces President Brosco with an overbearing hug. In a very thick Rikkan accent President Hakeem put’s President Brosco at ease confirming that the airborne virus does not exist in Rikka. "Come! let’s feast shall we?” President Brosco and VP Jackson give each other a look of pleased acceptance. It was as if the future of Drodian and its citizens were no longer in threat of danger. President Hakeem’s Government building was lined with every galactic jewel known to man. Their technology had to have been extraterrestrial. President Brosco and Vice President Jackson sat at the ballroom dining table as President Hakeem’s servants brought the most flavorful dishes. Jackson was very knowledgeable on the cuisines which deeply impressed President Hakeem. After the magnificent lunch was out of the way President Brosco inquired about the alliance for a nuclear attack on Drodian. President Hakeem hesitated, but unconvincingly replied knowing nothing about such an atrocity. Vice President Jackson also had an uncanny talent of knowing when people lied. He would simply walk away at the sound of untruth which signaled to President Brosco that the individual he was dealing with was not telling the truth. Vice President Jackson walked off leaving President Brosco uneasy. President Hakeem asked where such a horrific idea came from. President Brosco withheld the truth himself and replied with,"I received multiple unanimous emails and I wanted to meet with every political leader to establish peace and de-escalate any conflict if present.” President Hakeem hesitated again as if rehearsing how he wanted to respond. President Hakeem displayed praying hands assuring President Brosco of no ill will towards the country of Drodian or President Brosco. Vice President Jackson re-joins the conversation and apologetically interjects by reminding President Brosco of our need to get back to Drodian and inform the people. President Brosco opens his suitcase and gives President Hakeem three Moleskine notebooks. One in scarlet red with the word,"Passion”, one in myrtle green with the word,"Care”, and the final notebook in black with the word,"Resourcefulness”. President Hakeem was so grateful. He ushered for his servants to leave. President Brosco and Jackson began to depart back to the jet plane, but President Hakeem blurts out,"one moment sir” followed by an awkward chuckle. His servants return and hand President Brosco a hand held black box,"a gift for your time and generosity my friend.” President Brosco opens the box to reveal 6 galactic jewels. Both President Brosco and Jackson’s eyes widened from surprise. "With these jewels you can leave this planet and come back if what you say is true. You always have a home here.” President Brosco shook his Hakeems hand and bid him farewell.

As President Brosco and Jackson board the jet plane and fly back to Drodian. They discuss how they will prepare the citizens of the possible danger without causing a panic. An evacuation to Rikka was the plan established on the flight back to Drodian. As they approached the Drodian airspace the nuclear alarm sounded off. From the horizon they see flickering lights approaching at high speeds. Jackson whispers under his breath,"no.” the attacks instantly Demolish the country of Drodian right in front of their faces. The captain looks over the country and sees nothing but charred remain and no place to land. A single tear falls from Jacksons face as he looks at the once known country of Drodian. He looks at President Brosco and retreats to his chambers without saying a word. President Brosco slowly opens the black box looking at the galactic jewels and ground zero as if he traded his country for galactic jewels. He snaps the box closed and instructs the pilot to return to Kingdom.

As the jet plane reaches Kingdom, an engine blows out forcing an abrupt landing which irreversibly damaging the wheels in the process. King Martyn meets President Brosco at the landing strip. President Brosco exits the jet plane furious as the attacking country is completely unknown. King Martyn says,"Only the President of Mars can show you who drew first blood. As you know, If you want justice you’ll need $50,000 dollars and a galactic jewel per person to get to Mars.” President Brosco humbly asks King Martyn for the funds, but they are short $20,000 dollars. President Brosco begins banging his hands on his forehead in frustration,"what’s wrong with you?”, says King Martyn. President Brosco replies,"every Moleskine notebook I gifted had $20,000 dollars taped to the last page of the notebooks. The worst part is I might have gifted the enemy $20,000 unknowingly.” Kingdom was bankrupt as they held all backing currency on Drodian Land as part of the alliance agreement. Knowing the allegiance Kingdom and Drodian share, Kingdom is now likely to be the next target. A voice from the distance says,"they tried to take two birds out with one stone, but they forgot we were Drodians.” says Vice President Jackson as he fans the last Moleskine notebook. We still have one more country to visit. President Brosco’s eyes light up assuming he had given all of the notebooks away. He grabs the notebook from Jackson and hastily flips to the last page to discover two $10,000 bills taped to the last page. "There was money in this notebooks!?”. President Brosco smiles and says, I owe you one Xico. President Brosco gathers Jackson, the pilot, and King Martyn to follow him to Mars. King Martyn declines and chooses to perish with his people if that is the outcome. President Brosco gives his old friend a sincere hug,"I’ll come back for you old friend, I promise.” King Martyn replies,"just get justice and avenge all of the fallen Drodians.” President Brosco and the last Drodians boards a tram to the galactic spaceport to buy their ticket to Mars.

The last Drodian survivors obtain their tickets and board the shuttle to meet the president of Mars. Will they discover who conspired to eliminate life on Drodian? Will they make it out of Earth? Is the president of Mars the culprit? To be continued…
