You Missed This 'Book Of Boba Fett' Call Back Scene From 'A New Hope'
It would be impossible for a Star Wars show that features a character so heavily ingrained in the original trilogy as Boba Fett to not have a few callbacks to those films. The Mandalorian has its fair share of callbacks and references, especially in the second season. Although, none of the main characters appear in the original trilogy or have any deep connections with those films, Boba Fett is a different story.

Speculation: Is Thrawn Still An Imperial?
The last time we saw Grand Admiral Thrawn, he was a member of the Galactic Empire and a loyal servant of Emperor Palpatine. He spent most of his time dealing with the Rebels in the Lothal system, only to then be taken by a bunch of purrgils and sent away out of the known galaxy to who knows where. Now, it seems Thrawn has re-emerged, taking on some new forces under his command. So that begs the question, what has the Grand Admiral been doing since his trip into the unknown, and more importantly is he still with the Galactic Empire?

New Announcements About 'Star Wars: The High Republic'
Today marks the first anniversary of the start of The High Republic (technically, it's about a year and two days, but who's counting), and to celebrate that anniversary, Lucasfilm's Krystina Arielle hosted a special edition of The High Republic Show on the Star Wars YouTube channel. What's Next After ‘KOTOR’ Remake? ‘KOTOR 2’ Remake Or Sequel?
In the grand list of best Star Wars video games of all time, there is one game that seems to top the list every time: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR). Released in 2003, the game and characters were so popular with fans that Disney actually made Darth Revan canon even after wiping out the vast majority of the rest of the extended universe. The characters, gameplay and storyline have stood the test of time. With the success of the first one, it was only natural that a second game would follow, and in 2004, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (KOTOR 2) was released to largely positive reviews, though not quite as high as the first.

'Book Of Boba Fett' Reveals Another Survivor From Jabba's Barge Destruction
The Book of Boba Fett opened with its first episode, Stranger in a Strange Land, on Wednesday, taking the audience into the story of Boba Fett's escape from the sarlacc pit, his torture at the hands of Tusken Raiders, and establishing his criminal empire in the wake of Bib Fortuna's death. These events take place within the timeline of The Mandalorian, with flashbacks reaching back five years, to directly after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. While scenes of the area near the sarlacc pit depict the lifeless ruins of Jabba the Hutt's sail barge, and the carnage left in the aftermath of the rescue of Han Solo, a later scene in the episode reveals that a notable character from Return of the Jedi, present on the barge, survived the explosion.

Crimson Dawn Easter Egg In 'Book Of Boba Fett'
This past week, we ended 2021 with the pilot episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Everyone has been waiting for this series to drop ever since Boba Fett made an appearance in The Mandalorian. After all, there were many unanswered questions concerning what happened to our notorious bounty hunter ever since we last saw him take a tumble into the sarlacc pit back in Return of the Jedi. Apparently he did not go very far, since he was still on Tatooine when we revisited the planet in The Mandalorian roughly five years after the events of Return of the Jedi. While the internet was buzzing with excitement over the canonical answer to the “How did Boba Fett escape the sarlacc?” question, some astute minds (with really keen ears) pointed out that a certain criminal syndicate may be making an appearance in Book of Boba Fett.

Star Wars: What If…Mace Windu Did Not Kill Jango Fett
While Boba Fett had become a fan favorite character in the Star Wars original trilogy, Lucas decided to flesh out his backstory some when it came to the prequel trilogy. In Attack of the Clones, we learned that Boba was actually an unaltered eight-year old clone of his “father,” Jango Fett, a bounty hunter who had also become the genetic template for the clone army created by the Kaminoans. When Obi-Wan arrived at Kamino to investigate the assassination attempts on Senator Padme Amidala, he met Jango and Boba. Obi-Wan recognized Jango as a likely suspect in the assassination attempts and tried to detain him. However, Jango and Boba fled Kamino for Geonosis. When battle broke out between the Jedi and the Separatists, Jango got involved as well. Unfortunately, Jango lost his life (and head) to Mace Windu during the battle, leaving Boba orphaned and seeking revenge against the Jedi who killed his father.

Did The Force Shield A Young Palpatine From The Jedi?
One of the fascinating plot holes in the Star Wars galaxy is that Emperor Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious, was never discovered as a Sith and/or Force user, even as a child. The Jedi knew absolutely nothing about him. This was glossed over by Yoda in the prequels in that the Jedi had become so used to being in charge and having peace that they became complacent. But Palpatine was strong, and he was right under Jedi noses. Not to mention, as a child, he would have to be strong as well. Wouldn’t they have tried to seek him out as a youngling? This plot hole is explained in James Luceno’s 2012 Star Wars novel Darth Plagueis. While the novel is technically non-canon in Star Wars lore, it explains this plot hole more than what Yoda gave us in the prequels.

How Boba Fett Survived The Sarlacc Pit In Legends
As a final gift to 2021, Disney gave the Star Wars fandom the premiere of The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off of The Mandalorian featuring the fan-favorite character of Boba Fett. When the grizzled bounty hunter extraordinaire showed up in season 2 of The Mandalorian, fans were immediately excited, and the love for the bounty hunter was renewed. However, more questions were raised as we remember the last time we had seen Boba Fett on screen he was rolling in the sands of Tatooine into the mouth of the dreaded Sarlacc, never to be seen again. So, what happened to him? It depends on your of knowledge of the Star Wars universe.
