'Star Wars' | The Politics Of The Galactic Republic: Well Crafted Or Beautiful Mess?
Over nine saga movies, two anthology movies, and a seven-season long cartoon, we see Jedi heroics with their laser swords, fantastic battles in the vacuum of space, and giant walking tanks blasting through battles on incredible planets. But how much do we actually understand about the way things work in the background? Much of the Saga takes place during three eras: the fall of the Republic, the reign of the Galactic Empire, and the struggle between the First Order and the New Republic. For a system of government that’s existed for thousands of years, there’s not much explicit discussion as to the workings of the Republic that gave way to the Empire. So how exactly did the Republic work? Without any explicit explanation, we have to glean what we can from the movies, shows, and books to really garner how this system worked, and how that allowed a fascist government to replace it.

How The "I Don't Like Sand" Line From Could Have Actually Worked
Whether you are an avid Star Wars viewer or have only seen the movie in question once, the short monologue of Anakin Skywalker's disdain for sand has been engrained in our culture for better or for worse. Through the two-plus decades since the prequel trilogy's release dates, new and old fans have critiqued Lucas's portrayal of Darth Vader's origin story, from his early days as a slave to his rise in the ranks of the Jedi, only to be an enforcer to Emperor Palpatine and his dictatorial regime. At best, it's poorly written. At worse, it's contrived and reduces Darth Vader to that of a lovesick teenager. While his early portrayals are not what some fans might have thought, looking back at a more critical lens, not all of his moments are so horrible. Unfortunately, sometimes the transition from paper to screen doesn't provide the feeling the writer intended for their audience.

What Star Wars Anthology Stories Could Have Been...
The Star Wars Anthology series has always been shadowed in mystery ever since it was first announced in February of 2013, just 3 months after Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm. Some of those mysteries were brought to light with the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Star Wars Story. However, many were yet to be revealed or were only teased when Disney decided to put the film series on hold in 2018. Since then we have had many different “standalone” Star Wars stories reach the surface through Disney+. Some of which were “home runs” according to fans and others not so much depending on who you ask. With Obi-Wan Kenobi (a cancelled and repurposed Anthology film) being released on Disney+ May 27th, lets take a look back at the fall of the “Anthology series” and theorize on what could have been.

Opinion: The 'X-Wing Space Combat Flight Simulator' Was The Best 'Star Wars' Video Game Ever
Most of the time, when people discuss the best Star Wars video games, the most recent games are mentioned. Games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order or Star Wars Battlefront II, and even some slightly older ones like Knights of the Old Republic, or The Force Unleashed, and brand new ones like LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Don’t get me wrong, those are all excellent games, but they are not the best, in my opinion. Not even close. The best Star Wars game came when Star Wars was just coming out of the dark times. That game is the X-Wing Space Combat Flight Simulator. Nothing will ever compare.

How This Prequel Character Found Out Darth Vaders Identity
Few have escaped the wrath of Darth Vader. Even fewer have escaped the wrath of Anakin Skywalker. But that clearly hasn't stopped Sabé from defying both at the same time. The current Darth Vader comic series from writer Greg Pak and artist Raffaele Ienco has been breaking new ground for the famous Sith Lord and various other aspects of the Star Wars galaxy. Solidifying itself with its fist five issues, Darth Vader (2020) began with an arc following Vader immediately after his duel with Luke Skywalker on Cloud City.

10 Gags From 'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' That Make Us Love 'Star Wars' Even More
As a long-time fan of both Star Wars and LEGO, The Skywalker Saga is another welcome addition to the LEGO series of Star Wars games. One of the things we love the most about The Skywalker Saga is the tongue-in-cheek storytelling relying heavily on visual gags. Especially when they take a rather unpopular moment from the movies and make us laugh at it. After beating all nine episodes of the game, we compile a list of some of our favorite scenes from the game that add to the absurdity of the Star Wars universe.
