Daisy Ridley Reveals That Rey Was Considered To Be A Kenobi
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker ended the sequel trilogy in 2019, around the time that Lucasfilm took the Star Wars universe to a new direction with the groundbreaking hit TV series The Mandalorian, the second season of which premieres October 30 on Disney+. The show takes place after Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi and long before the rise of the First Order, the authoritarian regime that is a threat to the galaxy when Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens comes around. Since the hype from the last trilogy has died down, we are now at a time where information about the direction that Star Wars has been taking is coming out. The Rise of Skywalker received mixed reviews from critics and fans, many of whom were upset with certain decision they made, including Rey’s lineageand Kylo Ren’s redemption. Finn actor John Boyega was upset and unsatisfied with how the narrative handled his character throughout the trilogy. Many fans were upset with how certain pay-offs played out after they were set up in previous films.

Vader Mourns Wife Padmé In Preview For Upcoming 'Darth Vader' Comic Book Issue
It's no secret that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is one of the most celebrated movie villains ever. We have seen him as the ruthless face of the Empire in the original Star Wars trilogy, the conflicted young padawan who falls from grace in the prequel trilogy, and even the daring military leader in the hit TV show The Clone Wars. While a complex, dynamic character in his own right, it is no secret that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader would not be the character he is without his wife, Padmé Amidala. We see the rise and fall of their relationship in the prequel trilogy and in The Clone Wars, but Padmé's presence is mysteriously absent from the original Star Wars trilogy.

Jon Favreau Compares 'The Mandalorian' To 'Game of Thrones'
The Mandalorian season 2 has been reported to include some characters who are already familiar to Star Wars fans. Given that Lucasfilm has not confirmed the rumors, take this with a grain of salt. Arguably, the biggest are the possible additions of Boba Fett and Ahsoka Tano, the two characters that had been two of the popular characters from old and new Star Wars stories for years. Especially Boba Fett, who made his first appearance in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special. As these are just rumors for now, we will have to wait and see in The Mandalorian season 2, which premieres October 30.

Ewan McGregor Says That His Obi-Wan Kenobi Show Is Just One Standalone Season
Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the most beloved characters in all of Star Wars. He has been portrayed consistently well by different actors across various media over the decades. One of these actors is Ewan McGregor, who depicted the character in the prequel trilogy. For years, fans were begging for an Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone film, with McGregor back in the role. Eventually, we got the announcement that McGregor would indeed be returning for a Disney+ series centered on Kenobi, taking place eight years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, which would indicate that this is during his exile on Tatooine.

Star Wars Does have Depth so Trekkies Need to go Easy on the Arrogant Disdain
Studio : 20th Century Fox, Poster As a devout Trekkie, I am well aware of the arrogance many of us levy over the competing franchise. But to discard Star Wars as nothing more than a frivolous romp does not do George Lucas' vision justice.

Daisy Ridley Says "Never Say Never" To Returning As Rey
The Star Wars sequel trilogy has been a wile ride. Some of the choices were questionable, so it is an understatement to say that the trilogy got a very mixed reception. Regardless of what one may think of the results, it told a story mainly focused on Rey, portrayed by Daisy Ridley. Even if the writing could have been improved in some places (your mileage may vary), Daisy Ridley gave it her all with her acting abilities. Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker was advertised as the end of the saga films. But of course, it is possible for Lucasfilm to change their minds in the future.
