'Star Wars' Confirms That Purge Troopers Were Clones
Troopers, whether they be clone troopers or stormtroopers, come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. The creatives behind Star Wars projects just cannot resist reinventing the trooper with different armor and weapons. For example, Rogue One gave us the Death Troopers, which are elite troopers clad in black armor who communicate through scrambled comms. And The Rise of Skywalker gave us the Sith Troopers, who sport a nice shade of red. But beyond the films, we also have the Purge Troopers.

New Look At Luke Skywalker's Yellow Lightsaber
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of facets of the entertainment industries took a hit. Lots of things got delayed, and comic book releases were hit pretty hard. 2020 was meant to be the start of a new era for Marvel when it comes to Star Wars comics, especially given that the ongoing series simply titled Star Wars, which started in January 2015, relaunched in January of this year with the issue numbering restarted. The current run, written by Charles Soule, takes place, like other comic series right now, between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It follows a vulnerable Luke Skywalker after the revelation that Darth Vader is his father.

Kathleen Kennedy Determined to Hire More Women For Future 'Star Wars' Projects
For much of the amount of time that the Star Wars franchise has been around, the roles of women in regards to the live-action stories has not been as plentiful compared to men in these stories and working on these stories. Sure, from the beginning, we had Leia, who is a strong character. But over the course of the original trilogy, her role was lessened, and this pattern would be repeated in the prequel trilogy with Padme Amidala, who is shown to be strong but then has very little to do in her third film. Return of the Jedi saw the whole slave Leia situation, and the revelation that she is Luke's sister does not pay off in that film. In fact, it does not pay off until The Last Jedi, when we finally get to see Leia use the Force. Even with her limited role in The Rise of Skywalker, it was great to see her as Rey's master. On that note, recent years have seen an increase in the role of the female characters.

'Star Wars' Confirms That Force Lightning Is A Dark Side Power
"The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural." This quote was spoken by Sheev Palpatine / Darth Sidious in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, and he repeated it in Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. As obvious as it may have been for a while, it seems that we can firmly place Force lightning in this category, especially considering that a new book from DK, simply titled The Star Wars Book, says as much. A Twitter user with the handle @OldManBlinks shared pages from the book, including a section titled "Unlimited Power: The Sith Order." This particular section includes the following:

The Mandalorian Wields The Darksaber in Season 2 Of Mando!
Have you ever wondered what it would look like if Din Djarin, The Mandalorian himself, wielded the Darksaber? When the Darksaber made its live-action debut in the hands of Moff Gideon at the end of season 1, fans who were familiar with the weapon lost their minds (in a good way).
