Come November 19, they will put out a new virtual reality experience called Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge. It will be an immersive VR experience for the Oculus Quest set of headsets.

When The Rise of Skywalker came out, it shed further light on the idea that the sequel trilogy was not very well planned out. The month after the film's release, people became aware of another Episode IX script titled Duel of the Fates, which was written when Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow was still attached to direct Episode IX. The script included a more prominent role for Finn than what we got in The Rise of Skywalker, which shows him meeting other former stormtroopers like Jannah but did not lead to the stormtrooper uprising that many fans were hoping to see.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor has long been in the works. Even going as far back as the lead-up to The Force Awakens, I remember when fans were hoping for an Obi-Wan Kenobi movie. Over the years, there were rumors and reports that it was happening. In interviews, Ewan McGregor said that he would like to return to the role. Finally, at Disney's D23 Expo last year, it was confirmed that the story would happen as a series, when Ewan McGregor met up with Lucasfilm's president Kathleen Kennedy onstage. At that time, McGregor mentioned how he had spent a long time trying not to reveal anything in interviews until the project was announced officially. It seems like this has been happening for a long time.

All The Information We Have about 'Star Wars Rebels' Sequel, And 'The Bad Batch' Show
Star Wars 3D animation has become such a huge part of Star Wars over the last 12 years. During the years when no new episodes were being produced for The Clone Wars, we got a successor of sorts called Star Wars Rebels. That particular show had a satisfying ending, but it left the door open for further adventures of the characters who remained. It feels open-ended and not quite like a concrete conclusion. Later, The Clone Wars was finally given its final season, during which it featured the elite squad known as the Bad Batch. Taika Waititi's 'Star Wars' Movie Preparing for Scotland Shooting Location
Star Wars fans were elated to find out in May that Taika Waititi was going to be directing a new Star Wars film. His work contributing to the direction and acting of The Mandalorian was so successful that he was given a movie directing role. Ever since then, there have been all sorts of speculation as to what this film could be about or where and when it may take place. However, since Taika Waititi is currently still working with Marvel Studios and writing the script for Thor: Love and Thunder (which starts filming in January), it may be a while before we find out anything more about what the new Star Wars film will be about. From what little has been said, we do know that Taika Waititi is already on the screenwriting process of the new Star Wars film. And in the past week, there has been some more new and exciting news.

Star Wars Movie Ranking
Let it be known; I am a MASSIVE Star Wars fan. I have loved this franchise for as long as I can remember. I remember being too young to remember the numbers of each episode or even the titles, but that didn't stop me from choosing my favorite at such a young age. We had every movie on VHS, and I watched them religiously. Keep in mind that there were only three movies out at that time. My oldest memories with Star Wars is asking my mom if I can watch it, which she followed with, "Which one?". My automatic answer was always, and of course, "THE SNOW ONE!!!". If you know which movie this is, you won't be surprised about which is one of my favorites. With Star wars practically playing on repeat in my household, you can imagine my little, fragile nerd brain exploding when the prequels came out.

Star Wars: Top 5 Sequel Trilogy Characters
5: Han Solo Although Han was really only in one movie, his presence was felt throughout the trilogy, both figuratively and literally. The movie that he was in felt more like a Star Wars movie than any other in the trilogy, largely due to the fact that Han Solo's charm and charisma are what life-long fans correlate with Star Wars. If he had played a larger role in this trilogy, he would have likely been higher on this list. I will also say that my favorite scene in the trilogy included Han. Of course, this scene is the scene he shared with his son, Ben Solo, in The Rise of Skywalker. Whether it was actually Han himself or a projection that Leia created in the force, I couldn’t ask for a better final straw to redeem Ben once and for all.

Before we get started, I want to clarify that I will be cheating slightly with this ranking. I will be including some characters from the Clone Wars series, which plays a pivotal role in this trilogy. I know I am giving a little more attention to this ranking, and no, that doesn't mean that I like the prequel trilogy more than the original classics. However, I really connect with some of these characters, so I am giving this list special attention.
