Ahsoka Tano started out as a rather annoying character in The Clone Wars, before progressing to one of the most likable and most popular characters in the Star Wars universe. Her transition to live-action on season 2 of The Mandalorian has been epically anticipated, and with episode 5, "Chapter 13: The Jedi," we've finally been treated to Ahsoka's debut live action appearance. An excellent episode in its own right, one of the main highlights was, of course, Ahsoka, played excellently by Rosario Dawson. The Child's real name was also revealed. Both Ahsoka Tano's dual lightsabers and The Child's real name have now been released on some stunning new posters.

Fans Are Now Petitioning For The Sequel Trilogy To Be Removed From 'Star Wars' Canon
Star Wars fans can be great, but some just cannot get over certain installments of the franchise. The sequel trilogy has been the target of much ridicule in recent years, especially after the last two instalments of the trilogy, which displeased some viewers for a variety of reasons. One fan in particular named David Evans started a petition to The Walt Disney Company with the title "Please Remove the Star Wars Sequels from Canon and Remake Them." On one hand, David did say "please." On the other hand, this petition just feels silly.

Why Do We Love 'The Mandalorian?'
It's hard to argue that the last 15-20 years have been the golden age of television. With shows like Breaking Bad, The Wire, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, The Good Place, Fargo, and Mad Men among others, we're seeing some of the best TV that humanity has ever produced. Shows are now getting movie-level budgets and have some of the best creative minds behind them. With the COVID-19 pandemic currently causing a bit of a bugaboo, which in turn means that the theaters are pretty much toast, what TV we can see on the plethora of streaming services that have been presented to us is more important then ever.

This Is How 'Star Wars' Explained Palpatine's Return, By Ruining Luke's Exile Completely
Luke Skywalker's state of exile in the sequel trilogy is a very touchy subject. The idea of Luke being an old hermit in exile actually came from George Lucas himself. Even with the way The Force Awakens ended, many fans were still surprised by how bitter their hero Luke Skywalker was in The Last Jedi, and how he was denouncing the ways of the Jedi Order. To be fair, the Jedi of the prequel era were flawed, but many expected Luke to be spearheading the revival of the Jedi Order as he did in Legends. He does that to an extent in the backstory for the sequel trilogy, but flashbacks in The Last Jedi stirred some controversy when it was revealed that Luke considered killing his own nephew, Ben Solo, when he sensed darkness in him. Once he ignited his own lightsaber, he felt shame, and regretted doing so. Nevertheless, his nephew awoke, assumed the worst, and did not give his uncle a chance to speak, leading to the destruction of the Jedi temple.

What Disney Retconning "Jeans Guy" From 'The Mandalorian' Means For The Future Of 'Star Wars'
In a recent episode of The Mandalorian titled "Chapter 12: The Siege," there was so much action going on that you would be forgiven for not noticing a goof that appeared in the background. In the days that followed the episode's airing, viewers pointed out that there is a crew member visible at the 18:54 mark. Or at least, the crew member was visible. More recently, the "character" dubbed by the internet as "Jeans Guy" has been erased from the episode.

The Child Is The Answer To This Original Trilogy Mystery
The Mandalorian season 2 has had all sorts of great references to other Star Wars films and TV shows, whether it be the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, the sequel trilogy, The Clone Wars, Rebels, or what have you. With the reveal of The Child at the end of the series premiere, as well as the reintroduction of Ahsoka Tano from the animated shows, new theories have surfaced in response to something said by Jedi Master Yoda in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back.

We Were All Told Baby Yoda's Name And Nobody Listened
It was just last week that I wrote an article about why Baby Yoda's name isn't Baby Yoda, recounting the many reasons myself and others around the internet thought of it. I also mentioned we hadn't learned his name and likely wouldn't for a while, only for the article I wrote on Thursday to be rendered moot by a reveal the following Friday. But it seems that wasn't the first time his name circulated around the internet, as we actually learned it a while ago, and most people instead just didn't listen or discredited the source as it wasn't an official channel.

Does Moff Gideon Have The Same Power That Darth Vader Had?
In the final episodes of The Mandalorian season one, we were introduced to an officer in the Imperial Security Bureau, a law enforcement and intelligence agency of the Galactic Empire. This was Moff Gideon, who had also acquired the legendary Mandalorian weapon known as the Darksaber. He has been leading a remnant of the Empire. Since The Mandalorian takes place five years after the death of Darth Vader and the defeat of Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, Moff Gideon could be the next big bad wolf striking fear in the galaxy at this point in the timeline. According to actor Giancarlo Esposito, who portrayed the villain Moff Gideon, it is possible that the character sees himself as such in the grand scheme of things.

David Prowse Of 'Star Wars' Fame Dies At 85
The Star Wars universe is in mourning today (November 29, 2020) as it was announced that #DavidProwse, the actor who embodied the physical form of its supervillain #DarthVader, died after a brief illness at the age of 85. While the bodybuilder-turned-actor Prowse was best known for his role in Star Wars, he also came to be known for his disputes with the studio behind the legendary series of films as well.
