Here Is The Official 'Star Wars' Timeline, Updated With Different Era Names
In 2015, in the lead up to The Force Awakens, the main Star Wars saga was broken up into three eras. These came to be known as the "Age of Republic," "Age of Rebellion," and "Age of Resistance." All the movies, shows, books, comics, and video games that made up the official canon of Star Wars took place in one of these three periods of time. With the launch of Star Wars: The High Republic from Lucasfilm publishing, as well as The Mandalorian on Disney+, these three eras are no longer enough. Now, Lucasfilm has updated their official timeline as shown in Justina Ireland's High Republic middle-grade novel, A Test of Courage.

No One Hates Star Wars Quite Like Star Wars Fans
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... No other sentence seems to inspire as much devotion as those which have flashed up on movie and television screens since the 1977 premiere of Star Wars (which was only retrospectively retitled as Episode IV - A New Hope in 1981). Yet as intense as the Star Wars fandom's love affair is with George Lucas's ground-breaking space opera, the scenes which would come to follow those words in the years which followed did no always meet the expectations of some of the fandom's most passionate and outspoken members.

New Spaceships Revealed From 'Star Wars: The High Republic'
One of the first mantras that George Lucas gave to his design team (starting with Ralph McQuarrie) was that everything in Star Wars had to look used and ordinary, and nothing should stand out. Even the spaceships, the Death Star, and weapons of the Empire, though not looking used and “trashy,” had to have a minimalistic, functional design. This approach stood in a rather sharp contrast to the sci-fi movies that had come before, where everything had to look extraordinary, shiny, and “spacey.”

This 'Star Wars' Actor Reveals The Way Hayden Christensen Improved The Younglings Scene In 'Revenge Of The Sith'
Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, has terrified and fascinated movie-goers for the past 40+ years. His ominous presence, jet black armor and cape, skull-like helmet, and onscreen brutality quickly identified him as a cunning and ruthless villain. Within moments of his arrival onboard Princess Leia's ship, he has given orders to "tear the ship apart" and crushed Captain Antilles' windpipe with his hand. Over the next two movies, Vader would continue to be our heroes' main adversary, earning his place among such villains as Hannibal Lecter, Jack Torrance, and the Terminator. With an intimidating design, exceptional voice acting by James Earl Jones, and a compelling redemption arc, Darth Vader remains one of the quintessential and fan favorite Star Wars characters all these years later.

Just search for “galaxy’s edge” or “black spire outpost” on YouTube.

Throwback Line From Han Solo Removed From The Novelization of 'The Force Awakens'
It seems that the story of the sequel trilogy is one rife with some kind of curse, since the behind the scenes stories never seem to end. First the rumors for years about whether they would ever happen before Disney took over the franchise and now the endless tales, there's sure not a lack of content involving the sequel trilogy for us to hear. It seems it's not over yet either. Now, according to author Alan Dean Foster, Disney made him remove a throwback line from his novelization of The Force Awakens.
