Dave Filoni Is Continuing Star Wars' Greatest Theme
Out of all of the cinematic universes that exist in film history, none of them are as popular and influential as Star Wars. The Avengers might dominate comics, and The Lord of the Rings is the most popular book series of all time, but Star Wars is no doubt the franchise of choice for the big screen. Like any major series, there are often major themes that run through them. For Star Wars, that theme is family.

The Fascinating Reason We Know Padme's Sister Is Asexual
Apart from vibrant storytelling, Star Wars has long been a universe which embraces diverse social and cultural norms. When one spoke of the prequels, one of the household names that would instantly come to mind is none other than Padmé Amidala. She was the queen of aggressive negotiations and mother to Luke and Leia. A less well-known background, however, is her Naberrie family and older sister Sola, who has received considerable attention more recently as the topic of her asexualism and aromanticism was highlighted in the Queen's Shadow novel.

The Secret History Of Han Solo And Darth Vader
Having Darth Vader as a father-in-law would be pretty rough. Han Solo had it extra rough because not only was he attempting to romance (or had romanced depending on where you are in the timeline) the Dark Lord’s only daughter, but he was also wanted by the Hutts and the Empire. He shot Vader out of the sky, or space rather, before Luke made the final fateful shot that blow up the Death Star. Vader had plenty of reasons to hate Han Solo, but a new issue of Marvel's Darth Vader comic series showed that they had more history than was initially revealed. J. J. Abrams On The Sequel Trilogy Should've Been Mapped Out
One of the most interesting things about the Star Wars universe is that almost all the live action movies have different directors. Most notably, of course, is George Lucas (A New Hope and the prequels). Then, we have Irvin Kershner (Empire Strikes Back) and Richard Marquand (Return of the Jedi). Gareth Edwards and Ron Howard directed the spin-off movies, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Solo: A Story Wars Story respectively. Finally, J. J. Abrams and Rian Johnson helmed the sequels, which have arguably been some of the most contested Star Wars live action films with fans having opinions all over the map in regards to the three films.
