The Time is Now
I do not consider myself a Christian by todays standards, though I am a believer in the God and Jesus of the Bible. I also believe that the Bible as we know it today is very misinterpreted and misunderstood, and true spiritual discernment is the key. That is part of why I take prayer, meditation, and the visions I receive so seriously. God has revealed things to me, things that are going to happen in my lifetime. I fully believe in the things He has shown me and take as spiritual truth.

Carrier lost
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. It’s one of those trite aphorisms that means nothing of course, hearkening back to the times of organic matter and bodies that compressed gasses and passed them through pressurized tubes across membranes that controlled the vibrations in the gaseous material and transmitted sound. Sound. Imagine that. Sound…

We Have Finally Arrived In Our Partially Simulated Universe
Today we continue our exploration of the partial simulation by trying to figure out what the heck to do next. As you may recall if you have read any of my earlier posts on this topic we have finally arrived at what I believe to be a very likely (perhaps even the most likely) of situations if indeed we are living in a (partial) simulation. Remember it must be partial because of the ‘too good to be true’ problem which I currently believe is a fatal flaw in all total simulation hypotheses I have yet encountered. Notice I say currently as I am prepared to be convinced otherwise by a strong argument as to why it is not. Until that time I maintain that the most likely scenario is that the universe is 50–75% simulated and we are living in it as 100% real beings (assuming a simulation hypothesis of any type is actually correct). So the fuck what, is what I am now asking myself and perhaps you are thinking along similar lines.

The Simulationist’s Confession
Examination of Conscience As you prepare to make a good confession, you want to ask the Simulator(s) forgiveness for any way in which you have offended him/them but particularly for any serious offense against/within the simulation. If you are not certain what you should bring to confession, do not be afraid to check online for help. The internet is there to assist you and to share with you the Simulator(s) love and mercy.

God’s Version of Philanthropy
Human beings love to give to those that are less fortunate than they are. The reason we do not see more of this is that we find out that many of those to ask for help are not actually in need. One of our biggest concerns, when we try to be philanthropic, is that we will not find the right ministry or the right people to invest in. This sometimes causes those who have the most to give away to stop giving altogether. There is always an excuse about some terrible story of some unethical nonprofits that stole someone’s money. What is left out is that philanthropy is full of wonderful people who are dedicating their life, at a great personal sacrifice, to serving people and God. The largest majority of them are focused on trying to get their dollars to touch the most lives possible.

Is it a dream or is it real?
Is real life or is this just fantasy? Dreams are something we all have. How can you tell if it is just a dream or is it something more? You're asking yourself, what are you getting at? As a practicing Wicca, I have analyzed my own dreams for years. Now this isn't just one of those stories about how the things in our dreams are represented. This is my how to guide to tell when your dreams are something more than the normal dream.

Rabbi Aryeh Cohen Minneapolis: Jewish Tradition in Modern Life
Jewish culture is rich with stories and traditions that help us grow as people and make sense of the world. How can we take these invaluable resources and use them to enrich our own lives? Our most basic desire is to be true to ourselves, to live a life that reflects who we are and how we want to live. But how can we do this in a world that constantly tries to tell us who we are, where we belong, and what we should believe? Jewish tradition has wonderful ideas about being authentic, fair-minded individuals in a chaotic world. It also has some great truths about current events that impact our daily lives. When used responsibly—and with an open mind—these teachings can be a source of comfort, inspiration, and self-improvement.
